Hi Poom,

At the moment I don't offer lightning cables. If there would be enough interest I can definitely look into that. Shipping to Switzerland is not so expensive: €4 under 100gr and €7 above 100gr.

Cheers!

hi,

does anybody know how thick the cables are (specifically for the filco tkl)? and how long the strain relief is from the ring inside?
I want to build a tray with the keyboard embedded and need to decide if I want to order (when the orders are live again) with the strain relief or not.

Well I read something about that as well, but I don't believe our Chinese friends actually use those since I've seen just the connectors somewhere before. Can't remember where at the moment. I should try this out to be sure of course, but I don't have an ios device :) I'll try it out during the summer. Remind me if I forget :p

If anyone should know it would be me I guess :D the diameter of the cable varies. I have several different cables depending on what sleeve is used and if the cable is for usb or for internal keyboard components. I goes from 3-5mm in cable thickness, and you can add rougly 0,5-1mm to that when the sleeving is on. For the strain relief I'd have to measure when I'm home. I think it was about 3cm but you can pretty much cut it to size although it's a little tricky to cut it straight because of the rubber.

hmm..
the problem is that I can't cut the strain relief when it is on the cable without damaging the sleeve :(

thanks though

Got some additions to the sleeves. Three extra colors of MDPC and some colored Paracord:

With this and all the components back in stock I could finally make an interesting request for an Ergodox kit:

That's all for now :)

What color is that paracord in the bottom right corner of the picture? It's the one that has the blue, grey, and white. What's it called?

It's messed up that the cable still didn't arrive. I couldn't make a new cable before I left but when I'm back I'll make you another one regardless.

That would be nice, I try to give each of my boards at least a little bit of love lol. The Alps one and the model M are the only ones without custom stuff on them.

Good news everyone! The order forms are complete and live!

Some information:
- OP has been reformed and adjusted with the sleeve in stock
- For this run I won't be ordering extra sleeve since I have an overflow of sleeve stock as we speak.
- MDPC sleeving is from now on without additional cost!
- General pricing is lowered!
- Custom request are still possible, but only via PM
- Cable making will only happen during the weekend. Combining this with a fulltime job and household proved to be rather stressful. Besides that, administration and packaging/shipping can still occur during the week.

Order Forms
Check the OP for the order form status.

Wow! Seems like the reply notification isn't working properly :D didn't see any of the replices in my email. I've received the new orders, I will contact the unanswered orders still today.

Do you have right-angled mini-usb connectors?

I have angled mini-usb connectors, but I am currently out of stock on those. Which way they are angled to depends on how the female connector is positioned on your keyboard. If the wide part of the connector is at the bottom, your cable will go left. If it's on the top side, it will go right. Let me know if you want to order a cable with that connector and I will restock those.

That really depends on the type of cable, connectors, sleeving, prepared items, custom requests etc. I don't document this so I can't really say how long it takes on average. I have some cables where I really work 5 times longer on than others though or even more (long curled cable for example)

5 reasons to buy from Paranoid if he is accepting orders:

- Very personable. If the guy lived nearby, I'd buy him a beer for sure.
- Thorough answers. So much less frustration when someone spends the 2 minutes to reply rather than typing 2 words and just hitting send.
- Prompt replies. Always within a day he got back to me.
- Honest. He gave me realistic estimates on when he could have things done, which I appreciate far more than over-promising and under-delivering.
- Awesome quality. Everything arrived as ordered, works perfectly, and is very well-made.

Paranoid is the real deal.

Thanks, buddy.

No, these are for a fullsized Filco. They are a bit too long for a TKL I'm afraid.
