Constantly swapping, but this is the current setup at home Tina-A, Cherry Silent Red, and GMK Muted. Also ordered a WhiteFox with Hako True switches. I can see that being the daily driver for a while once I receive that in late March / early April.

At work, it's an HHKB Type-S.

Stock HHKB
AEKII with Damped White Alps
"Thick Paper Modded" Costar keyboard with Fukka Switches

Used in rotation according to my mood  ;D

Have some vintages to restore, a Model M from a Wheelwriter and an unknown Alps SKFS keyboard. And an orange Alps build in progress.

This bizarre behemoth:
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Did you dye those enter keys, Fohat, or is that a standard color offered by Unicomp?

Did you dye those enter keys,

I dyed them, using old-batch RIT "dark green" but they came out with a significant teal blue undertone.

Finally did the dome swap to BKE redux extremes, lubed & silenced this. The change is extreme to say the least, I am really liking it though. Also the lubing & silencing really tightened the board up, no more rattly stabs! :thumb: My only concern is I used the KeyClack silencing rings & I haven't heard great things about them TBH. I used a tiny bit of lube to kinda glue them to the sliders, fingers crossed they hold. So far so good, but it is very early on. I will say they are doing an amazing job of silencing the board though. With as thin as they are & as hard of a rebound these domes have I was really expecting it to be louder.

My daily driver, a Japanese layout Realforce. I work at HORI, a Japanese video game peripheral accessory maker, so I write in Japanese every day. I love this keyboard deeply, it brings me joy every time I touch it's lovely keycaps. Topre for life!

I really, really wish I preferred typing on GMK over Enjoypbt, etc. My wallet does not. Maybe my future builds with 65g springs will make them more appealing.

Thanking you kindly, bmilcs. It's nowhere near a final product for the general population, but it servers my purposes nicely.

Sure, I'd be happy to give you a few pointers from the things I learned. While this is my first keyboard and my first fully fledged self made(ish) project, I didn't learn all of this from scratch. The learning curve is fairly steep (depending on what you want to get done) but results are quick. Feel free to drop me a question in the build thread:

Same here. I have wanted a keyboard with a left numpad, right nav cluster for a long time, if I had the tools and skills of that guy, I could do it. But alas, I can't design PCB's beyond bread board prototypes, and I would be totally unimpressed by rat's nesting it. I also don't own a laser cutter or mill, so I don't really have a way to make a case worth a damn.

The reason I want one though is because it frees mouse real estate without losing the numpad. Maybe it is because I am weird, but such an idea is really attractive to me.

That's exactly what started me on this project. I have no idea why there are not more left handed keyboards around, it works so well for right hand users, but if there were more around I wouldn't have had the pleasure. Necessity is the mother of all invention, and all that.

I'm at work, so i'm using my Lenovo Enhanced i brought from home, very decent rubber domes for a work daily imo.
And yes, its labeled because people tried to steal it before, because all the keyboards on the hall i work at are considerably worse than this one.

Even though I'm usually not much on the "gamer" aesthetic, I saw this one a few years ago and put it on a wishlist. Just ordered it and it is extremely good quality for the price. Paid right at $50 for it, comes with Cherry MX Red. Unfortunately it uses a weird bottom row, but there are enough keysets out there now that I'm sure I can find replacements at some point. It reminds me a lot of Diablo.

I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html

As a quick little folly, I swapped out the browns in my Anne Pro for Kailh Jades to see what all the fuss was about. While I was at it I thought I'd make use of the nice cyan backlight by adding some grey caps and grey gaffer tape on the case.

The most basic of mods but I like it - it went from being hardly used to a clicking clacking bluetooth pleasure. Grey is an underused colour and I love colour blocked objects.

I really like those PBT backlit keycaps. I bought a set in white from Amazon, and I'm using them on my white case WASD CODE keyboard at home. I thought they would feel cheap, but they are actually not bad!

Had about an 8 hour session in Vermintide2 today and the CA66 handled it like a boss. The quick and heavy BOX oranges were a pleasure to use and helped me kill thousands of treacherous rats and other creatures. SA is definitely my favourite gaming profile when matched with a nice stiff switch

I randomly ordered some Tao-Hai Miami doubleshot keycaps from Massdrop a couple months ago and they arrived this week - so I bought a full-size iKBC cherry red board on Amazon for 50 bucks to stick em on. It's actually a really nice board for the price! Clean, solid, and feels great - especially after I added some o-rings.

Then something amazing happened!

Right as this was coming in Sludgekidd did an artisan RNG raffle on instagram and I got an invoice. We could choose our preferences, but got this bub that wasn't in the colorway options he listed. Turns out he made two "Zombub" cap and only sent out one. The amazing thing is that it matches my Miami caps perfectly!! So lucky!! Thank you to Sludgekidd, a really rad dude.
