Looks good, especially since the CMYK legends are left-center, same as your gray mods. It's always off-putting when the alignment is different. Nice board :thumb:

Not really today, but this has been my project for the last while.

Poker X in a Sprit Model 3 case with Panda Clears, pink switch stickers, Galaxy Class and a GID blue reflective cable from Zeal. I think the board is done (who am I kidding, there's always something else right guys?  :))), but I might lube the switches sometime in the future. I also might drill an extra hole for the centre screw that the Poker X lacks, but I'm undecided on that. It feels pretty solid as is, and it feels a million times better to type on now that it's in a nice case and has some PBT caps on it.

That's a great looking board, man.  I especially love the look of that trans blue case.

Thanks dude! I think I've done okay for my first custom board. :)

I'm really enjoying it. Can't wait to see how that Ionospheric Skull looks on it.  :thumb:

For my next board, I think I would like to do a custom build from a kit (those Duck Vipers and Eagles looked sweeeet!). I just need to find a way to practice soldering..  :))

I don't know how many times I hit caps lock on my other keyboard playing Battlefield 4 (damn full size caps lock key) :/

A center stemmed stepped caps lock key should be included in all of Signature Plastic's base sets!

Looks like they don't diffuse the light as much as I hoped they would, though :(. Maybe frosting them would make a difference?

If I might make a suggestion, and I don't know if this will work for sure, but I did a casemod years ago and I wanted to diffuse light behind a shaped window (it was the star wars empire logo). I used a sheet of wax paper (for baking) and it worked nicely. I don't even know where the pictures are, I was like 15... anyways, I'm wondering if a semi-translucent piece of wax paper might spread the light out a bit more through the acrylic? Aaanyways cool stuff Jacco!

Looks like they don't diffuse the light as much as I hoped they would, though :(. Maybe frosting them would make a difference?
That is frosted. ;) It's already a huge improvement over the clear version.

Oh wow, it definitely does make a big difference. Will be frosting mine for sure!

If I might make a suggestion, and I don't know if this will work for sure, but I did a casemod years ago and I wanted to diffuse light behind a shaped window (it was the star wars empire logo). I used a sheet of wax paper (for baking) and it worked nicely. I don't even know where the pictures are, I was like 15... anyways, I'm wondering if a semi-translucent piece of wax paper might spread the light out a bit more through the acrylic? Aaanyways cool stuff Jacco!

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking something similar. There is an acrylic plate in between the top and bottom of the case that is still clear right now but I was thinking of frosting it as well. It would really help with the glow around the edge that this board should be capable of.

Don't them LED colour changers stop you bottoming out the switches?
With mine I realised that I cannot bottom out my clears so I took them all of. I was using DSA clears so I assume that they are the same design as the granite set.

They aren't bad on the browns! I still have plenty of travel after the bump before they bottom out. I had o-rings on this Poker and with the o-rings on it + LED covers the keys seemed to bottom out too quickly like you mentioned. I took off the o-rings and it's fine now.

I tried some blue LED covers on a poker with clear switches though and I had the same issue as you. It made the key seem to bottom out immediately after the tactile bump and that sucked :(

I should probably note that I had to sand down my led covers as well to get a nice fit. They were tight and sticky when I first tried them.

Yeah, there isn't *much* purple in the set (some WASD keys), but I avoided using those because of the comparisons that have been made.

Still, it was my first GB, and it came out nice. That was way (!) back before I learned about all the backstories here and about "controversial" group buys (aren't they all? ^_^)
