Well I have both 55g and 62g clears. I think 62g edges out a little. Both are lubed with different ratios of lube so they're not exactly the same though.
I have noticed that very rarely this one key will get stuck but that seems to go away with time. It's just with this one key so 55g is definitely okay but I wouldn't go any lower than that for sure.
The 62g feels close to linear but I love it. I used to favor 55g blacks over anything but this particular 62g clears is the best imo. I might switch out 55g for 58g springs and see if that makes a difference but right now I'm liking the 55g ergo too much lol.
Yeah, the amount of different variants you can have in an ergo clear switch depending on spring type and the amount of lube you apply is pretty awesome. I personally prefer as much tactility as possible so I applied the minimum amount of lube on the front slider while applying generous amounts on the side and on the bottom and springs. This let me get a pretty tactile feel while still having a smooth and quiet switch. With a 55g spring, I can only assume you'll probably have to apply a bit more lube on the front sliders. However, for now, the 62g is pretty dang awesome!
Thanks for the feedback, calavera!

Thank you, inlikeflynn!
ETA: as I already said on OCN, awesome job, VesperSAINT!!!
Thanks!!! Your picture makes me want to go home ASAP so I can put together my HID Liberation Device too!
Congrats your Filco is almost as badass as mine. HWAHWAHWAHAW
HUE HUE HUE. Good one, son :P We shall discuss more when I get back home in a few days huhuhu ~
FTFY :)
If you felt it slightly with brown springs, you will feel it even more so with 55g springs. That said, my opinion is that clears feel fine going as low as 50g, but this only applies if they're lubed.
Ah thankies ~ I guess I should stick to one type of measurement, and seeing that we're using bottoming out force, the stock Blue, Brown, and Red springs would be 60g :)
You guys are making me look forward to the 55g too much even though I've only just started enjoying 62g :P So many pleasures and so little time :P 50g sounds like a daredevil switch hehehe.
vesper it looks like you put a lot of time and effort into your project!
congrats! ^-^
Thanks! It was a long process but it was most definitely fun and worth it! Talking of fun, we should CSGO it up when I go back home! I haven't played since the night we last played :))
VesperSaint....amazing job on your mod man. I'm glad someone else is jumping into the modding game. Congrats mate!
Thankies! I couldn't help but give into the temptations of the ergo clear switch :)) Also, the idea of having a keyboard where I can open and switch out and mod without having to desolder every time was also too good. It would've been nice if I could have just invested in a full custom keyboard like a Phantom but I didn't have that kind of money to drop so this was the best I could do in terms of a custom keyboard :P Just need to put together the HID Liberation Device... Then there's only the never ending CC hunting :))
