the partial curing was so that you could use your pots to prep gas-free partially cured urethanes and ship them out to other people who can shape them and then finish the cure. it's an easier way of loaning out your pots :)

That is very intriguing.  I would like to know more about -what- materials would stop reacting in the absence of O2, and how they could be packaged for shipping while remaining free of contaminants.

you know those space bags and that vacuum sealer crap they sell at costco?

yah, that. as far as transportation is concerned that will work. quite well. just spec your bags at like 8-10 mil HDPE (low gas permeability). and don't rely on a check valve. suck all the o2 out and then melt a seal.

as far as materials are concerned, we have to dive into the datasheets on the smooth-on urethanes and on other thermosets and elastomers. i'm pretty sure natural rubber actually has this properly, actually, so it's quite a fundamental property of thermosets. meaning, you have to work on your compound to break the A -> B -> C phase change series rather than the other way around.

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Binge, those look amazing! And the camera can really pick up Wasdson and the hand-e-cap better with a little darker of a color.

Nice that color really shows the details! & no I didn't get your first PM reply... it must've failed. did you like my idea? :p Would probably be very time consuming to look realistic, as well as possibly uncomfortable and fragile!

& speaking of realistic, the new faces look amazing with the flesh tones and red lips/white teeth etc. painted on.

I sorta wanna see a hand e cap in a flesh tone plastic! didnt you do some kinda swirl multicolors at first?

I use acetone to clean up and it works very well as long as you have not let the resin harden when you use it.

I also bought a bunch of these on the cheap so I do not care if I just toss them after a few uses.
