I recently discovered that later model Lexmarks e.g. 82G2383 have a small piece which adapts the old SDL socket to the hard wired cables. This piece is a perfect fit for a female USB Type 2 receptacles mentioned in Ripster's USB Mod. I am yet to futher document this but once I get a Blue Cube I test this thing out. And the thing is, it looks so professional. You don't need any youghurt container. It might be a while till I mod my Lexmark so mabye someone else with a blue cube and 82G2383 can do it?
