For Sale: HHKB Pro, original model (mfg. Feb 2005)
This is a gently-used Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro. BLACK KEYS, NO LETTERING. It's an original model HHKB Pro, dated Feb 2005. It's being sold with the carrying bag designed for this keyboard, currently selling for $50.00 from EliteKeyboards. Combined price for keyboard + bag = $155.00. (Will not be sold separately.)
Condition of keyboard: used in 2005, for about 2 or 3 months, in a clean office environment. Since then, used maybe 2 days average per year. It was stored on a shelf in a clean, smoke-free home. Slight shine-mark on right side of spacebar, but there are no other cosmetic problems, and this keyboard still works beautifully. CLEANED and tested, ready to go!
This keyboard has no extra USB ports. Otherwise it's the same (I believe) as the HHKB Pro 2. Full instructions for dip switches, and diagram of layout, can be found online.
Condition of the carrying bag: new, unused. Soft, black nylon carrying case, with a firm, padded compartment for the keyboard, plus an extra compartment for the USB cord and other accessories. Very well made.
Included: HHKB Pro with detachable USB cord, 4 lavender WASD keycaps (blank, no lettering), 1 red Esc keycap (lettered), 1 keycap puller, and the carrying bag.
