Oh nice, it's the modern beige?

It's a Lingua Franca DSA multilingual dyesub set from zFrontier  :) Going to try out mixing it with Granite!

Awesome! I couldn't wait until the weekend, I'd turn off my phone upon receipt and get to work assembling then test it until I was hallucinating from lack of sleep.

Is there a specific game you had in mind when building this?

I got a TechKeys shirt in and some switch stickers.

No real specific game in mind, just want high enough frames to fully take advantage of my Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 1440p 165hz monitor in AAA games on some of the highest settings.

The most graphically demanding games I currently own would probably be The Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance (I played the beta).

I really need to quit slacking and update my system.
Every time I think I'm going to start getting ready to do it a new GB, or new knife comes out that I want, or
something needs to be fixed on my E46, and I never get around to it.

I got a couple of Hot Keys Project blanks for my HHKB today. Probably my last keyboard related purchase in quite a while.

In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

I want a kong!

You like my Kong? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I got it as an amendment to the Rama Remedy spinner from Massdrop. The bearings it came with were loud and didn't give a long spin, and everyone there seemed to recommend the Kong 3-in-1, so that's what I got.
I wasn't impressed by it at first. It's smooth by itself, but in the Rama spinner it wasn't much quieter. But after a day of break-in it's definitely a lot quieter than it was before, and way quieter than the stock bearings the Remedy spinner original contained.

Thanks! I haven't messed with the steno too much but from my quick tests it works flawlessly, hopefully I'll have some time this semester to learn how to use it properly.

I've been slowly trying to pick it up, but my machine is a piece of crap, so I had to sell it. I'm hunting around in my area for a decent one.

Have you been using a mechanical steno or one of the electronic ones?

Mechanical one--has a broken linkage somewhere that I haven't been quite able to fix. Bothered the local typewriter repair, they didn't know what to do with it. Shouldn't be too hard, I'm friendly with the guy who runs the typewriter store in Amherst. I'll ask him to either have a look or find me a working one.
