Basic Keyboard PCB Concepts
« on: Sun, 19 April 2015, 01:28:56 »
Hey guys!
I'm new to designing PCBs and such so I was just wondering if there's a thread/link/video/blog/lecture/walldrawing about how the circuits and wiring work in a keyboard? And also how/why it all connects to the teensy.

Thanks!

How does this work for you?

As to where to connect on the Teensy metalliqaz has just added a custom matrix option to his Easy AVR firmware so download the beta and have a read of doc/handwire.txt for which pins to use, if you want an easy option :)

Hey that's sort of basic but thanks for the article!

Read komar's post here:

Also these links on how a keyboard matrix works:

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
