It is, bill decided to go PCB mount.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

Am I crazy or does it look like there is plastic plate or something?  Also, I've seen board which are pcb mounted where you can see the pcb between the keycaps, especially if its red or something bright like this one, but it doesn't seem to show on this, why is that?  Keyboard noob here :)

The PCB is red, you can see it in the first picture.

Viper w/ MX Blues
Wow first time I'm seeing these keyboards. I like the octagon a lot. It looks what I have imagined as a perfect board for me. Could you tell me how is their build quality?  Switches that this brand uses? Os X compatible?  Topre?

Does this mean cheaper than pre built board? My national currency is very weak ATM (MXN).

Most assembly services, whether it be from the GB organiser, or from someone here in artisan services will run you 45-70 USD

So it's not really cheaper, considering I need to buy case + caps.  It does look amazing and fitting to my needs.

I would love to try it. I don't have a decent soldering iron but I know I will have to buy one as it is a primary tool for any contemporary gentleman.  As I said, my national currency (Mexico)  is very weak towards the dollar right now. It got devaluated by some 20 % some months ago,  so everything in dollars is 20% more expensive to buy :(

There are acrylic plates out there, but they're a bit uncommon. I can't speak to that board in particular, but I haven't heard of acrylic plates on the recent Duck buys.

My V3 LightSaver in silver. GMK 9009 will go on it when it arrives, but Nautilus will do just fine until then.
