Want!

I'm going to ask if there's any way they can ship it abroad.

It should be pointed out that Models to the effect of #000 or #001 generally referred to the particular variation of system it was intended on being used with.

He says he won't ship abroad, and I'm not interested enough to bother with mail forwarding or whatever. Good luck to anyone who goes for it!

Here's another one. Again, US only. Also more expensive.

One from recycledgoods here which ships internationally. Expensive, but they're pretty reasonable with offers AFAIK. Either way, I don't have that kind of money at the moment for a keyboard that won't work with a modern PC :p

It may have IBM's Capacitive Leaf switches, which, by the sound of it, are the most awesomest switch ever.

The research and tinkering bit would be my reason for wanting a really old IBM board.

Well...good enough for me lol, carry on.
Remember, "a lot of money" is subjective - to me, I don't "think" it costs a lot of money...it "does" cost a lot of money. I don't spend over about $15 (total!) on a board with buttons on it, ever :)

I like keyboard collecting as a cheap hobby-- like collecting low-valued foreign coins.

My most expensive board is my new one, the Solidtek 6600 ($50).  Below that is my Customizer 104 ($40 used), and then nothing over $10, possibly nothing over $5 (three Ms and an NMB clicky board)
Overton130, Box Pale Blues.
