Did anyone mention the menu or "fn"(3 line icon) key on the right of the spaccbar is an icon rather than word? Someone pointed out the backspace icon didn't fit in and I wanted to bring up that the "3 line" icon might have the same issue. Thoughts?

I suppose adding that to the spacebar kit is the best option. Although I also think we have to discuss the colors for those keys, it's all cyan at the moment.

Yes, but most traditional GMK sets have that icon with the text legends, and it is "Menu" for most keyboards so using "Fn" is technically wrong. I'd keep it myself, but I have no attachment to that particular icon. The backspace icon on the other hand was really out of place.

Space bars in accent colors are nice; but, have them in base color is needed. I'd say base color space bars are required, accent color space bar are good to have, but not indispensable. Offering them in the mod colors would be also an option.

Very excited about the base kit and colored mods. However, I noticed that there is no colored "Menu" key. Any chance to have an option for that in the set?

Are those various brightly coloured keys labelled R02, V2, etc keys that will be offered with the set or are they just listing colour codes or something? I would like to see a brightly coloured key or two to add some pop.

There will be a modifiers set with colored legends offered, so everyone interested can get it along with the base set or stand alone.

If there's a way to make something reasonably affordable to fit a planck, I would be all over this. 

A kit with a handful of colour coordinated blanks would be awesome.   I don't even care about legends on my mods, and since many people aren't even close to the "standard" planck layout, it's a good way to go.

Even better would be a standalone kit like Nantucket Selectric had.  I think the usual situation where the planck requires a TKL "base" set + a 1u mods set leads to a lot of us just not being able to justify it.

I know I usually get almost ready to buy, and then bail when I realize it works out to >$3 per key that I'll use.

What about the 1u thumb cluster keycaps in the ErgoDox kit? Those should be convex as well.

Just joined for base and ergodox   Super excited about this one.

Does anyone know if we can keep tabs on order quantities of the proxies (China and EU)?  I always worry about ergodox kits tipping, seeing overall numbers would be nice to see how things are going during the GB.

Edit: 1 more question.  When I placed my order, the site didn't send me to paypal to authorize the purchase.  Did I screw something up, or do I just need to authorize once the GB is complete?
