Need someone who knows model Ms to help me decide if I should buy this or not.  Is this a good deal??

Yep I would say this is a good price. They don't get much cheaper plus it's gone already. There are a lot of variants though so there are some things to lookout for. I would stay away from terminal keyboards as there is extra expense required to make it work with a modern computer. If you have never owned a Model M, part number 1391401 is what most people think of when talking about the Model M and is a great place to start. Also the earlier Model M's are known for their higher quality construction.
