So..... here are the final results



Sorry, CP is gone which is also my favorite

But the question is...

L9 or WS1??? they got the same votes lol.

I am only going to run 1 set at the moment, and maybe leave the other choice for a future run

This will be the final poll for GMK BoW. Thank you for all your support! Once the results are up, I will get the pricing and render from GMK and the GB will begin

COLORS: CR on WS1, CP, or L9

LEGENDS: YURI ICON MODS for WS1 and CP; Icon+Text for L9

LAYOUT: will be the same as the old renders, but the R3 Ctrl for hhkb will be changed to a non-stepped version

PROFILE: cherry profile, unfortunately all three choices will all be only offering a standard 1-1-2-3-4-4 profile.
Why no R0 and R5 for L9 like you said before in the IC?
R0 and R5 will make the price higher,  and with the extra mark up the price will be over my acceptance range so i have to eliminate it. Sorry guys.

07/30 UPDATE!

POLL RESULTS
we did 2 polls, one on legends of the modifiers and one on the whites.
we collected votes from both the Chinese community and the international communities (in this case GH & r/mk)

here are the results


interestingly, the Chinese community and the international community showed different interests
might dig thru more in future polls

ICON is the most voted, ICON+TEXT the second, sadly TEXT only will be eliminated.

white:
Surprisingly, WS1 is the most voted. If we look at the total numbers, I would say CP and L9 are close. According to these numbers, I am NOT eliminating any of these colors.

So.... here are my PLANS

A: we go modern classic - CP or WS1 with ICON mods 1-1-2-3-4-4
B: we go vintage AF - L9 with icon+text mods with R0 and R5

During the IC stage of the JT WoB, many of you guys have been asking for a BoW instead of a WoB or maybe run both at the same time.

;^) So I am planning to run a Black on White with your favorite GMK.

I have been busy dealing with a lot of work these days, so I apologize for lack of reply on my IC threads. And first, I will have to continue with my JT WoB and when it goes through GB I will get my hands on preparing this set. Probably will happen before WoB hits the shipping stage.

Suggestion: make the mods all text like GMK Oblivion. Having this in usual GMK modifier make it no difference than GMK Stormtrooper.

I have GMK color chips, will take some real life photos of the whites and blacks this weekend. Btw I even thinking about N9 or even 2B legends for a more calm vibe compared with contrast CR. Because it's already contrast enough with whatever-black legend on whatever-white key.

From my observation people tend to backoff from pad printed GMK. That and I think people that take interest in BoW is in search for something clean and neutral, so I don't think adding pad printed is necessary. But maybe that just me.

No prob about the photos. I want BoW too but I don't like the usual GMK mods where some have text only and some have icon and text. Text only or icon only looks better with icon shines when paired with non-latin alpha like Cyrillic (Yuri) or Hiragana (Laser).

Just for your reference, this is a picture of my own Stormtrooper set (with CP colours), as you can see, not yellow at all, just a very nice almost ivory like colour:

I forgot to take the pic yesterday lol. Will do when I'm home with interior lighting and take another tomorrow morning in a shade with natural sunlight, both will use SpyderCube for white balance reference. There's some additional white keys on the samples I have, like WS2.

Let's see what this set gets at the end. CP looks to me just too common, it is a color easily found in stock cheap OEM key caps, that it is not really interesting for me. But, who knows, maybe it gets mods so nice to be ignored.

I feel like Coniferous did a good job. I like the blanks it had too.

I'd like more options for the right strips on 65%/75% options like r3 pgup / r4 page down like a tada68. Blanks could serve the same purpose.

Also please no homing dot on numpad 5, or at least add the normal one too.

I'd also love win10 keys, but I know not everyone will agree.

I'd say a bigger kit would be better in this case. With standard colors moq is low, and adding a few keys is that bad. Better to have more coverage options to get more buyers. Especially since nothing else is using that shade of white right? So it's not like there is any other way to get alternate keys.

Definitely tray shipping to. Bags are lame lol
