[ENDED] Two '70s Micro Switch console boards
« on: Mon, 04 December 2017, 21:18:38 »
Don't know if anyone's looking for something like this, but it seemed cool-looking enough to mention, and the price is quite reasonable:

Vintage 1977 Microswitch Clicky Keyboard KB71SD12-1-C Parts or Repair

BIN $45.00 + $15.90 U.S. shipping

Looks like Hall Effect switches. Divine keys, huh? Would those be DS, or some kind of etch 'n' ink thing?

I also wondered: Is the "F" key something you could hold to make the number keys F-keys?

Not a bad price if you're looking to harvest Hall Effect switches. Even if it is missing some caps, those things are a PITA to find.

I haven't seen a tab that big since our old typewriter.  Pure awesome sauce.

I don't think you can "harvest" HE switches... They're not modular, for some reason. I'm sure Chyros can explain, if he can take his hands off of his Wang for a minute.
