Hello, this is the official IC for space camp, hope you enjoy.

Additional Info:
Why PBT?
Some of you might have noticed that we have jumped ship to pbt. Personally, I would have really liked to stick with JTK and produce doubleshot keycaps but given the timeline my co-designer and I wanted to work with, it became very clear that would be hard to constantly tweak our hand-drawn designs for the double shot process. Especially considering the number of novelties involved. Still, we wanted to keep the cherry profile and with the colors we had chosen it became evident we also needed reverse dye-sub. Given these parameters we decided to move forward with Infinikey(IFK) as our manufacturer, as they ticked all the boxes for the requirements given. We hope you guys understand and hopefully in the future we could try and work on set with JTK.

Haha, yeah it really is, but I did come up with this color-way before kat pbj was being developed. Much love to Liz though.

I like the colorway but I don't get the thought process for the novelties. Would love an explanation on them. Like why is there the male symbol and what looks like a pirate ship steering wheel?

Thanks for the engagement Shiro. As the designer of the novelties I can speak to that. The novelty style came about through inspiration from the artist Tom Sachs' hand-written notation, as the key set itself takes heavy influence from his space-related projects. The male symbol you  reference is actually the astronomical symbol for the planet mars, derived from greco-roman astronomy, and the wheel is a hand-drawn stylization of the ISO ctrl icon. Hope this helps clear up the intentions!

Looks good!

I'd suggest the 06_SCM-DM-02 deskmat design to be in the corner as it's so small it will be covered by the keyboard when placed on it

appreciate it! We have another deskmat design coming with a considerably different approach. Centering the logos on a deskmat does certainly have some practical downsides, so maybe this third one will be more your speed. Stay tuned!

LOL this was my initial thought too. I like the colorway, interested to follow the progress of this. I did want to ask, how come you didn't want to take advantage of JTK's main draw, tripleshot? Or do you have to go JTK for the novelties? Speaking of novelties, could we get a stepped caps novelty as well? Looks like there isn't one right now

Yup the main draw was due to the sheer amount of novelties for way more reasonable price than gmk. I also don't know how a double shot spacebar would go over at GMK, but JTK was atleast kind enough to entertain the idea. As for stepped caps we can think about it, but seeing how there are already this many novelties already I am not sure we are in the position to be adding more lol.

hehe.  Oh well, mars is a big place.  We could probably use a few more keycap sets to honor it.

Understandable. I hope you do reconsider a stepped caps R3 novelty since you technically have two novelties there; just none of them are stepped. It'd be unfortunate to have to choose to go non-stepped if I want the novelty mod kit, or just completely pass the novelty mod kit if I wanted stepped caps.

It will depend on pricing, but I will consult jtk about it first.

I completely get your point, although I gotta say; I have never had any additional costs or fees come up when ordering form the UK, regardless of the products value.
I believe these rules only apply to non EU based countries (and even once the UK leaves the EU, I think they're planning on working out some sort of deal, when it comes to customs). At least that's how it works where I live (Germany).

Really liking this set. I've never been one for red in keycaps however this set is so well done. If anything I would love to see a refined version of the novelties as I think those would do well in addition as a option to the drawn ones. Depending on the GB date if this succeeds I would be super excited to pick up the base kit and some other goodies! :p

Looks very nice! My only concern is JTK being super slow with classic FC, Zen and SA still in production, while Azure, night sakura and Royal alpha in queue.
