hot damm LULW

I missed the clown fiesta again, and imagine thinking you can just edit your post and think everyone is going to believe it OMEGALUL, how can you even think of doing this in the first place, posting about not being able to create an account but you're using an account to post LULW. Also when confronted just take it like a man/woman you are, don't chicken out like this

Anyways, the original geekhack devs should be ashamed of themselves for implementing such poor UI/UX, those 'security questions' are a joke to modern web development. They aren't preventing automation in any way

Are you sure of this?

Is this thread part of the Geekhack canon, or is it part of the extended universe?

It actually does help; we noticed a sizeable decrease in spam accounts after adding in the two additional questions. Granted, over time, these answers get added to the spam-bots' data set and we need to add a few more questions as time goes on, but they're not useless.

For anyone curious, the OP copied the new text from this reddit thread for some reason. Typically we see this sort of thing with spam accounts, but this one looks to be an actual person, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He edited the post to hide it's original content which you can see here:
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=111206.msg3013823#msg3013823

He also created a second account and reposted the IC again probably to hide the fact that he f*cked up.
The reposted thread is here: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=111217.0

iirc having multiple accounts is against the rules...

Oh, it very much is. I hadn't seen the duplicate account/post when I responded, but that has opened a whole new can of worms.
