I think i'm owed some plate-mounted stabs and some LEDs, but I'm good on both.  I found another source years ago.  Assuming my parts actually exist, feel free to sell/use them for whatever.

You sir, get a slow clap.  :thumb:

Wow, I didn't realize this was still ongoing? Hoff if you run into problems where you're missing any hardware let me know and I'll see if I can help out. I ordered way too much stuff from this GB so I have tons of extras. But I believe I also ended up with a few spare PCBs and miscellaneous parts (diodes, led spacers, etc..) after I sent everything out. It was a pretty expensive undertaking with the problems with shipping costs, travel to pick up the boards, etc.. It's been a long time since I've even thought about the phantom GB but I'd be fine with helping.

Ordered PCB + plate only.  Plate never materialised.  :blank:

I have been slow to make progress on this, and I'm sorry for that.  :(  My other projects are coming to a close in the near future, and I will then pursue this full-time.  I'm really sorry for the delays on my end.

It has been another month now. How is it going?

To be honest, not as well as I had hoped.  I wanted to make progress this past weekend, but had a very difficult time navigating my way through the Excel documents.  I don't know if that's my fault or not.

I was hoping to be able to PM/email people and verify that I still have what they ordered, but had difficulty determining whose order was already shipped, or if any were.  It looks like, moving forward, I will need to cross-reference a few documents to determine where we're at in the process.  It will be slow moving, but any movement will be better than none.

Thanks for the offer.  I'm pretty handy with Excel myself as well, I just got frustrated with an inconsistency and decided to push it off to a day that I have more time to commit to it.  I've since had it clarified by theprof and will be able to make progress.

****, I just bought a plate, case, caps and pcb from TheProfosist on the LinusTechTips forum, then discovered this. I hope it goes well. If not, it`s $240 down the drain.

I talked a bit to him and I`m fairly confident I will get the stuff I bought now. If I don`t get it, I will post it on here.

Hello everyone, I owe you guys an update.  I apologize for the long delay in tending to this, but I know that putting this group buy to rest will be a positive for all of us.  :thumb:

I just sent out emails to the following users:
  • affect656
  • Amr0d
  • AriesX
  • bavman
  • csimi
  • Elrick
  • FabsSpeed
  • gizzard
  • isman

I will tend to any responses from the above users over the weekend.

During additional free time, I will send PMs to the following users:
  • Jupiter
  • Kabuks
  • Keebo27
  • KuhnTang
  • Leewei
  • Okooko
  • Oproer
  • r3dx
  • reality404
  • Rendom
  • TheQsanity

Unfortunately, I do not have ANY of the requisite items to satisfy orders for, and therefore WILL NOT be, PMing the following users:
  • agor
  • blighty
  • Gupgup
  • metafour
  • Paranoid
  • rosh
  • Slavfot
  • sleepy916
  • Soulpyre
  • theultrazord

If your name is in the above list and you believe it should not be, or you have ANY questions at all, please send me a PM of the format "[Phantom GB] *Username*", where *Username* is replaced with your username.
Items NOT on hand include, but are not limited to:
  • ANY LEDs
  • ANY Cherry Stabilizers
  • ANY Assembly Work
  • ANY Modification Work

There is one user that I am unsure of their username, due to the Username field being the same as the user in the cell above.  If your name has not been mentioned in this post and you believe it should be, please PM me.  The user in question supplied an address and contact information, so I will be sending an email when I get to that position in the list if I haven't heard from them.

Lastly, there are three items not attributed to anyone's order:
  • (1) Filco Majestouch 2 Camo - MX BLACK switches
  • (1) Phantom Steel Plate
  • (2) Filco Keycap Packs (WASD, Esc, Etc)

If you know that you ordered any of these, or purchased them and had them sent to theprofosist, please PM me to let me know.

If there are any questions at all during this process, do not hesitate to ask.

UPDATE 2016/02/08

I have packaged the orders for and sent shipping quotes to the following users:
  • Amr0d
  • Elrick
  • FabsSpeed
  • gizzard
  • sleepy916

I am awaiting a response via PM from the following users:
  • affect656
  • AriesX
  • bavman
  • isman

I still need to send PMs to the following users:
  • Jupiter
  • Kabuks
  • Keebo27
  • KuhnTang
  • Leewei
  • Okooko
  • Oproer
  • r3dx
  • reality404
  • Rendom
  • TheQsanity
I apologize for not sending PMs to the above users yet; it is much easier and less stressful for me to "complete" the prior orders before sending additional PMs to the remaining users.  I will send these PMs out as soon as I have an evening in which I am not busy packing/shipping.  :thumb:

All of the following items have been claimed by their rightful owner, and are therefore no longer in "limbo":
  • (1) Filco Majestouch 2 Camo - MX BLACK switches
  • (1) Phantom Steel Plate
  • (2) Filco Keycap Packs (WASD, Esc, Etc)

If your name is *not* mentioned in this message, it is because you have either opted to not receive your order, or as mentioned a few posts above I do not have the items you ordered.

Thank you once again to everyone for your continued patience as I work through this.  :)

I wonder if you will get a response from affect656. He wrote me a while back to inquire about the GH60 order I was to hold for him (obviously hasn't even shipped yet), but I think he may be still busy with military life, or the aftermath of it. :)

As for bavman, after that Phantom debacle, I doubt you would get a response there either.

Good to know.  :)  I will hold his for longer (not sure what sort of time I'm going to hold the others for anyway though  ).

I figured as much, but I'm giving everyone a fair chance to claim their stuff.  :thumb:

UPDATE 2016/02/09

I have SHIPPED the orders for the following users:
  • Elrick
  • FabsSpeed
From my end, I am considering these orders COMPLETE.

The orders for the following users are still packaged, shipping quote sent, and awaiting further response:
  • Amr0d
  • gizzard

The following user has paid for shipping and the order will be shipped tomorrow:
  • sleepy916

PMs were sent today to the following users asking for confirmation of order and approval to package and quote shipping costs:
  • Jupiter
  • Kabuks
  • KuhnTang
  • Leewei
  • Okooko
  • Oproer
  • r3dx
  • reality404
  • Rendom
  • TheQsanity

I am still awaiting a response from the first round of PMs from the following users:
  • affect656
  • AriesX
  • bavman
  • isman
I will continue to include these users in future updates until I hear from them or sufficient time has passed to "abandon" the orders.  I'm doing this so it is easy to keep track of the current status of users' orders.

I made a mistake in previous updates and am updating that the order for the following user is NOT in my possession, and I am therefore unable to complete the order:
  • Keebo27

If you don't see your name in this update and believe you should, please let me know.

I'm glad you finally got your parts after all these years.  I'm looking forward to laying this one to rest, so to speak.  :thumb:

As a general update, I did receive and read the last wave of PMs I got (and replied where applicable).  Progress on this particular project has been slow-ish the last few days, but I'm hoping to make a big dent tomorrow evening.  I haven't forgotten about you!  :)

Next step is to get shipping quotes to those that responded asking for them, and to then re-group and tabulate where we're (I say 'we', but it's really just me) at in terms of PMs unreplied and all that.  This is what I'll be working on tomorrow.  After that point, it will largely be a waiting game to see when people respond to PMs - I'll update a bit more sparsely at that time, as my "duties" will be on a reactionary basis as opposed to...actionary...?

Thanks for sticking with this for so long, everyone.

UPDATE 2018/07/23

Hey everyone.  I've just packed up a few shipments, and am reaching a point of wrapping this project up.  Unfortunately, many users have still not responded to my PMs, so I sent one final reminder PM tonight.  These users will have one month to respond, after which point I will consider the orders abandoned - I simply don't have the space and bandwidth to continue to babysit this.  Summary below.

I have SHIPPED the orders for the following users:
  • affect656
From my end, I am considering this order COMPLETE.

The orders for the following users are packaged, shipping quote sent, and awaiting payment / further response:
  • Oproer
  • r3dx

I am still awaiting a response from the following users (these orders will be considered abandoned after one more month of non-response):
  • AriesX
  • bavman
  • isman
  • Jupiter
  • Kabuks
  • KuhnTang
  • Leewei
  • Okooko
  • Rendom
  • TheQsanity

Thanks for sticking with this through the many delays and long stretches of silence.  Speaking for my involvement, I do apologize for any delays that I have imparted in the process of salvaging this buy.  I hope that some closure and resolution is better than none for all involved.
