Does anyone know where I can find the keymapping software for this? Thanks in advance :)).

Edit:

Can you let me know how you get your board into bootloader mode? I haven't had any luck with the guides i looked at.

Hold the escape key and then plug it in via USB.

I think thats what he meant. First he shipped out 20 as a test run, and now the rest of Round 1 is being fulfilled.

Well now that Batch 1 seems to be wrapping up with people receiving theirs, any rough estimate for Batch 2? The previously stated 'not long after' is too vague to calm my excitement! Sorry for the bugging :D

Parents got mine... Only took two days. Really impressive. Will have to receive it to see how it's packaged, but not too worried about that.

I received mine a few days ago.  The packaging was impeccable, that thing could've been dropped off any loading dock and not have any damage.  This thing looks GORGEOUS.

Spent most of my Sat building it. Got lazy towards the end - need to solder in the indicator LEDs. Rocking some Skelefuse for now  :D

Picked mine up at the post office yesterday. Packaging was amazing and everything seems to be in working order.

I originally bought this because I wanted the 96 key layout and Duck's boards obviously have a stellar reputation, but I'm really amazed at the build quality. The anodizing is perfect and the overall fit and finish is beyond any other board I've purchased.

Having some issues over here. Everything soldered and hex dropped in. When the board is reset I get the popup saying the device isn't recognized. Device manager showing as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)." I have tried multiple cables on multiple pc's. Any ideas?

What version of O2D Keymapper are you using? I was using v1.10.XXX and it was giving me the same thing as you were getting. I had to use v1.11.665 to get it to work.

I got my board in.

Small feedback for the packaging. The screws were in a small bag that was fully taped down onto the base of the board. That is great for keeping them secure, but a nightmare to get off without a) ripping it and screws flying everywhere b) using something sharp, right next to your expensive board.

Duck usually declares things around $20-40. Occasionally German customs will ask to see your invoice to make sure it isn't underdeclared.

I though anything over $20 into Canada was subject taxes and/or duties.

You will need to program it. If you have any issues feel free to drop me a pm. After my own initial struggle the process is pretty straightforward.

My PCBs were pre-programmed with basic layout, I didn't need to flash anything initially.

yeah, i think it comes preflashed with the default layout, but it uses O2D, which isn't exactly a user friendly firmware

I wasn't home so my grandparents signed for it at the door. They dont speak english so they wouldn't pay if they asked for money.

Just FYI I declared my package at 35.- USD  + original shipping amount and all worked well.

Dumb question: I saw that PCB has switch mount holes. Does that mean I have to use switches with PCB mount legs. Just ordered brand new Silent blacks to find out that they came without legs (from reichelt.de).

OK. Thanks for quick response. Although I guess it would be little bit more solid with the legs.

Always go with legs if you can. This will avoid any switches being slightly not centered.

PCB mount isnt required but will help with alignment.

Here's what I've done in the past with plate mounted switches:
1. Install switches on 4 corners to provide some structure, don't solder yet
2. Install 1 row of switches and keycaps while checking alignment, switch seating, and excessive gaps. Make the appropriate adjustments
3. Solder one leg per switch and check alignment again. Make the appropriate adjustments
4. Solder other leg of each switch
5. Repeat steps 2-5 till complete

So I just got the keyboard, and it looks great. One thing I will say is the inconsistency in the steel plates. One of them is perfect, but the other one is similar to what someone else posted earlier. A lot of burn and scratch marks on the underside. I'm not sure if we're eligible to get another one because of this, but it's a bummer on an otherwise great product.

I don't think cherry has silent or speed switches available in pcb mounted anyway, only switch mounted so don't worry too much.

VicareyG just ran a GB for pcb mount mx silent blacks so they do exist. Most stores just stock the plate mount variant since they’re slightly cheaper.

Hey, just got my shipment in!

I noticed my PCB has some surface scratches, but I don't think any of the scratches are damaging any traces. So not the end of the world.
Is this the type of defect you're able to replace?

Well this is bit sad. Basically ordered wrong switches.  :-\
PCB mount isnt required but will help with alignment.

Here's what I've done in the past with plate mounted switches:
1. Install switches on 4 corners to provide some structure, don't solder yet
2. Install 1 row of switches and keycaps while checking alignment, switch seating, and excessive gaps. Make the appropriate adjustments
3. Solder one leg per switch and check alignment again. Make the appropriate adjustments
4. Solder other leg of each switch
5. Repeat steps 2-5 till complete

Thanks for the tips!

I don't think cherry has silent or speed switches available in pcb mounted anyway, only switch mounted so don't worry too much.
They have PCB mounted versions of them: https://www.cherry.de/PDF/EN_CHERRY_MX_SILENT_BLACK.pdf
Just my own screw up that I didn't read about it before. Contacted Cherry directly, maybe I can get some with PCB mounted ones.

Batch 2 will be shipping in 2 weeks. No address changes can be made anymore.

Thanks for the update!

No problem! I love your keyset, but unfortunately the post GB prices at KeyClack seems a bit high  :(.

Always go with legs if you can. This will avoid any switches being slightly not centered.

How much did you end up selling your kit for ;)?

So I just got the keyboard, and it looks great. One thing I will say is the inconsistency in the steel plates. One of them is perfect, but the other one is similar to what someone else posted earlier. A lot of burn and scratch marks on the underside. I'm not sure if we're eligible to get another one because of this, but it's a bummer on an otherwise great product.

Mine has the burn marks on the underside as well exactly like with the other user posted. You're luckier than me with the perfect plate  :)). Unfortunately, it's not eligible for a replacement.

Hey, just got my shipment in!

I noticed my PCB has some surface scratches, but I don't think any of the scratches are damaging any traces. So not the end of the world.
Is this the type of defect you're able to replace?

I would understand if there's a scratch on the housing itself, but this is on the PCB and you won't be able to see it. Again, this is not eligible for a replacement.
