I just got huge troubles with the tx65 pcb. Today pcb stopped to respond. On plugging it into usb port there is a win sound which notifies that an usb device has been connected. But thats all. If i try to connect with JigOn then JigOn crashes without any error notifications.
Previously the pcb had already issues but it worked at least. I could not update the firmware because of an connection error.
C:\L3_171209>l3cmd.exe cmd boot
status = 5
C:\L3_171209>bootloadHID_l3.exe -r l3.hex
Error reading page size: Communication error with device
C:\L3_171209>pause;
Press any key to continue . . .
I am using English version of win 10 with latest updates.
What i've tried previously in order to update the firmware:
- i've tried all usb ports available on my computer (including the usb hub) and all other computers at my disposal
- i've also tried to set the OS keyboard language to US English
Another issue was that the pcb did not worked properly after specific time without power. Say after starting my computer, the pcb blinked and did not responded to any input. To fix that i had to unplug the pcb for a short time. But despite those issues i could use the pcb as usual and even remap the layout with JigOn. Now it stopped working for me at all
If someone had experienced the same issues and had fixed it, then please share your solution to that problem.
Otherwise i fear i have to look for an alternative pcb. For example the Zephyr would most probably fit into the TX65 case.
As i've seen in other forums i am not the only one having issues with Leeku PCBs.
https://www.keebtalk.com/t/leeku-pcbs/3683Its a shame because PCBs have well known issues since a while, but they are still redistributed without any fix. Tho other manufacturers do have the same troubles
I've never had issues with PCBs from other manufacturers (including Percent). But well this time the luck left me probably.
