Title: moderation efficiency
Post by: davkol on Sun, 13 October 2013, 08:01:07
I've just received a warning. To be honest, I don't really care, because I stand behind my posts, but I wanted to give you some feedback on the process.

The warning is for a post older than four weeks and there's no link to context in neither the PM, nor the warning itself in my profile. I've had to search my own to posts to find out, why I got the warning in the first place.

What's the point of such "moderation"?

It's so your grandchildren aren't offended by what you posted.

I like offending people, because I think people who get offended should be offended.

Somehow, I don't think complaining publicly is going to help.

Maybe it'll help in 4 weeks.

A PM would have been a better way to get someone's attention (I just now saw this thread).  Sounds like a snafu by the person who issued the warning.  You should have gotten a PM with a link to the offending post.

Maybe it'll help in 4 weeks.

*checks date*

Pretty much.
