So I bought o-rings for the burger mount but they are too large in diameter for the included screws. Anybody know where I can get smaller ones?

Are there any SKB files so I could cut and make my own?

EDIT: Does anyone know OP's email? Can't seem to find it.

OP will make a customized plate for your requested layout. You could send email to skb@chrisbrueckner.de

Any updates for the rest of the boards that haven't shipped?

I had already contacted most of the remaining eleven participants who haven't gotten their case jet. The problem is that there were quite a few parts of different versions that were not OK. They have been sent back to the manufacturer and we are still in discussion about this. I hope to get them all replaced. I'm waiting to get an answer to this, by the end of next week. I will think of some kind of extra for the last ones of you.

Regarding the rest, I am quite surprised that there weren't many delivery problems. Just one package came back to me because the recipient forgot to pick it up, already resent. About four times I accidentally included the wrong plate, the right ones have already been sent out.

Update regarding the remaining cases (less than 5%):

Affected GB participants have been informed via email. Short version for all:
The manufacturer does not want to replace the units which I describe as "not OK".
I'm working on a solution, it takes more time. Again!

I would have really hoped the hole GB would have been over by now, but like I had realized before already - this thing nevers seems to end.

The positive:
I'm learing a lot from this - still am!
Also, over 95% of the GB participants have received their case(s).

Next:
I'll prepare a google form for all participants. With it I hope to collect some feedback from you, regarding this Group Buy (procedure, communication, the cases itself, etc).

Anyone else having an issue with ISO ENTER switch on KBD75 Rev.2 PCB as switch is not snaped in place by 2 cutouts on the plate and rather sit on board itself? Should I proceed with soldering that as is or that can be a problem in the long run?

To be honest I don't understand the issue you have. But I have the same PCB and ISO Enter.

well there is no real problem just a question as every switch is being held by cutouts on plate except iso enter that does not grip on plate rather sit on board. Anyway soldered and working fine.  My first "isoish" build, waiting for GMK Yugo :)

How do you find that impacts the stability? Still waiting on GMK Nordeuk++ to come in before really working on mine, so I'm wondering if I should try to get a custom plate that remedies that or not?

Ah, now I understand your question! Yes, I don't like if there are plates that are so generic that some switches are nearly not held by the plate. But in this case I don't care as the stabs (screw ins in my case) hold the key firmly in place. I don't see an issue with stability, but on the other hand the whole build does not feel very stiff.

I can definitely recommend a custom fixed plate!
The CF plates i got in mine are great, much more muted then the steel. They do however add less weight to the overall build.
imo I don't find the build "not stiff".
I added some PVC nylon 0.5mm Orings in between the 4 screws that hold the cases together. That helps a alot, ( Gives a peace of mind as well when you screw it together )
Silicone Orings aswell for the plate and last a piece of foam in the case, also helps on the overall case ping.

I also used GMK screw-in, and stability is not noticed until you try really hard to notice it: press and hold and wiggle enter left and right.

So the SKB boardwalk plate is cut for plate mount stabs (and the PCB supports PCB mount), so I could build it either way?

I'd be using panda stotles or something else good an obnoxious, so if anything the rattle might compliment the hollow resonance well :p

My take on the Skb60 HHKB:

229010-0

GMK Eclipse Caps
Fei Matcha switches, lubed with Tribosys 3204
Cherry screw in stabs
Custom HHKB Steal Plate provided by PlastikSchnittstelle
Neoprene foam for dampening
Added around 600g tire balancing weights
Set to 10 degree typing angle

... currently my daily driver and favorite board. Makes some solid tock, except for the spacebar that still has some upstroke ping that I can't get rid off :(

Finally got around to build it since nobody wanted to buy the board from me. I have a bunch of 8u spacebars lying around, so I did some surgery with the stems to fit 7u but it was a bit slanted. Eventually I just drew a new plate with plate-mount for the spacebar stab.

72g vintage clears
stainless steel plate

No, I don't plan to make another round of this - EVER! Aluminum combined with sheet metal bending turned out to be quite difficult. Adding the bead blasting and anodizing made the whole GB an almost never ending nightmare for me.
However I learned a lot from it and have an IC running for a similar design. Different material (steel), different surface treatment, slightly different construction and fully isolated plate mounting.
The name "SKB2" was probably not a wise choice since many just assume it is a round 2 of SKB and therefore don't even bother to read the start post. I'll probably rename it when GB phase starts.
I had a vote there regarding different 75% layouts. If you have questions regarding a possible 75%, please post it there.

Just a regular 75% pcb from winkeyless.kr with a custom plate. The plate has 4 extruding tab so that I could clamp lego into place.

SKB plate isolation mounting option

I had mentioned earlier here in the thread (also even earlier back in the IC) that there is the possibility to mount the SKBs' plate isolated. This will not work well with O-rings but perfectly with "anti-vibration standoffs". They are commonly used for mounting flight controller boards in drones and rc planes.
If the board is too loud for you then you should definitely try this. It does have a big impact on the sound and typing feel. You'll also need shorter M3x5mm screws for this, which are not included.
Here are links to the "anti-vibration standoffs":
- Amazon US
- Amazon GER

I made a little illustration, hope it helps:
