I like this concept. Is there any future for this?

I would love to see the electronic symbols rounded out with a couple more logic gates, a resistor, and the transistor Esc moved into that kit. And more symbol mods!

An expanded version of the kit would do well in it's own GB if it were run in 4-6 popular colorways. Just a thought.

It's not a good time to run to GMK group buy, especially since there is a lot of "subtle neon and cyan" stuff in both IC and GB (modern Dolch, waves, calm depths, hammerhead).

Personally I think this would look good in another profile, but people love their GMK.

Definitely. Perhaps it'd be better if this was SA or maybe even KAM, MT3, or the new profile Novelkeys is coming up with?

When is this estimated to come out? As an electrical engineer.... I will cough up he money and get my first GMK group buy.

Also... two things I would recommend. Although I’m new so it might be how it is for a reason.

It looks like the 1unit enter is R4... maybe should be R3? Also I feel like the colors should be reversed to make it grey on blue.

I am on board 100% with SA or even more so with MT3. But... following this since 2015... so it’s been in thought for four years? Aka never gonna happen. That’s too bad, I love when I can promote my hobbies with my hobbies.

And being as I want an electrical semi conductor themed set to come out. If I were going to dknjr I would start from scratch and if would be done right. Probably has colors that match the build of my office and the set overall would look much more professional and adult as opposed to childish and Tiffany jewelry blue.

From what I’ve heard SA Electric is dead because the designer abandoned it. does hat mean this one is dead too? That’s a disappointment.

Well, it's been almost 2 years since I last worked on the set... I feel really bad about my inactivity, and now that I'm graduating college (finally) I want to get back into designing key caps.

I'm going to start with finishing up GMK Electric and getting it to production, as I feel this set deserves to be made.

I'm currently looking into what people have been doing for the past couple of years so I can modify my child deals to fit with what is most popular. It seems where I left off back in February of 2018 was pretty solid, and I imagine only a few modifications will need to be made to get to a final design.

Assuming designs are finalized over the next couple months, I imagine the set will enter production late this year. And the plan is still to go with Drop, with perhaps some other distributors as well for those outside the US.

Please, if you have suggestions for the kit, any key cap you want to see included, please let me know in this thread! (and please include your reasoning

)
