you really only posted two black and white drawings and you got people still saying it's lit how do you attain this kind of power
Geekhack low effort IC poster don't be pretentious challenge (impossible)you really only posted two black and white drawings and you got people still saying it's lit how do you attain this kind of power
I’d rather see two black and white drawings of actual design over 20 renders
Looks cool, just wish the USB port was shifted over between nav and f-row. GLWIC.I support his wish

Stuff like all the 3 front heights ppl might want to know
typing angle
design of the back, bottom and top view
aprox weight
mounting
what situation the board is currently at (first proto ordered)
a nice exploded view with all the materials of the different parts giving me a idea what it will be after assembly
while the second picture shows me how the plate looks and how the leafspring and normal top mount got realised.
only 2 pictures and I got more info than reading a 3 page long IC with 50 renders of the same angle just recolored to the different colorways, while the info is spread out so I need to use ctrl+f to even find it. If he wants he can still slap 100 renders of the same board from the same angle to the IC
I honestly didn’t expect it to become a contentious topic 😅. I honestly don’t mind the feedback and imagine why the info can be too little for some people. But hey! I will put up prototype pictures as soon as I have it in hand!there is enough info on the keyboard though. the worst part is that im a broke 15 yo. and i can't afford a keyboard as amazing as this yet, i know it won't run anytime soon but i still won't be able to buy, maybe if you released a 65% in unkown future i would be able to buy
This is not gonna run anytime soon, but I intend to use GH to track progress and genuine interest.

im not afraid of the price, if something like this was running when ill be looking for something, ill definitely buy. No sorry the 60% layout is not for me the major reason people buy 65% is dedicated arrowsI honestly didn’t expect it to become a contentious topic 😅. I’m afraid a 65% would not cost less enough if it has the same design complexity. You can check out the Martingale, if you’re interested in a similar but simpler 60% instead! https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=116852.0
The worlds first “eternal weight ”
looks great elven :thumb:
Asking again just in case: please consider adding ISO accommodations to the plate, and maybe some flexibility for stuff like split right shift since that's pretty common in this form factor. At the moment this layout is very fixed and I feel like that's maybe the only thing I wish were differnet.
It looks like your plate does have a wide enough space for stepped or regular caps, which is good at least. Basically, I'm pushing for customisation here. Thank you!
interested in seeing a better angle of the side profile
Hi! The plate shown isnt meant to showcase the layout compatibility. It is mainly to showcase the mounting points. Of course, ISO will be avail, but I might enforce full right shift and backspace. Will also enforce 7U layout for the bottom row.

Here you go!

Thank you for answering, sorry I assumed about the plate. This board does look lovely, though. Personally, I'm okay with you forcing 7u bottom row and full length backspace. I would ask you to not force full RShift given this is WKL because I use the split for Windows key.
What about alps support, is it dropped?
Been keeping an eye on this for a while. The blocker light is growing on me. Maybe it's time for a second fish themed board in my collection.
Great design, clean lines. I like it very much :D
Typing angle is good
USB to the right is great (not centered)
Think I'd prefer h88c (south), but 87 works as well. I'm an ISO user and would need to find some support for that through another pcb possibly.
As I understand it is gasket mount? not top mount?
Anyhow, very interested and will keep an eye on this.
