I have just got a CST l-track X trackball and the scroll wheel feels slightly stiffer at a certain point in the rotation. Has anybody else noticed this?

Disassembling mine and pushing the wheel away from the disc helped it slightly, but there's still a little drag. Somewhat annoying.

I will look at it tonight. Other than that it is a great trackball. 10x better than the kensington slimblade.

Really, you feel that way immediately? I'm kind of on the fence. I don't game with my CST, but I feel the scrolling to be a bit smoother on my Slimblade. Button placement is hell on the Slimblade though, so I've mapped bottom left to be mouse 1, and top right to be mouse 2 (Because thats where I press on my CST)

I find that the trackball tracking is better and after long uses of scrolling with the slimblade it hurts my hand.

I love the CST for scrolling - but it is terrible for weapon switching, which is why I have some cherry blacks for the 2 extra button inputs.
