i think the spacebar for the quickfire rapid pro is 6.0x not 6.25

QFR is standard 6.25x.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

There will be plenty of these in the classifieds and some vendors bought some as well. They are just shipping out so expect to see them soon.

And eventually there may well be another GB, especially if Tai Hao can provide different colours, and/or include a 6.25x space bar in the base set.

I don't think 6.25x is the appropriate scale either, nobody has any details on the QuickFire Pro's scaling because of how ****ed up its bottom row is.

Honestly probably just going to either leave the spacebar black or do a trashy spray paint job on it. I dunno.

Got my shipping notification today, too! Whee!

I got mine today. The yellow isn't my favourite, but I think the red looks really nice. I wish I had ordered the green as well.  I haven't checked to see if any keys are missing yet, probably do that later.

Thanks! I really like how all the colors turned out. Green seems much better than in the preview, yellow, too. Looks they they reviewed the colors a bit before making these. Looking forward to getting these, and hoping the space bars will be exact matches.

Indeed! Definitely a big fan of the yellow and green. I think I'll be replacing the rest of the front facing black key caps and replace them with the green for a seamless look. Also not sure how I feel about my red with yellow modifiers.... Hurts my eyes, lol.

I'm liking the blue and yellow combination - something like that is what I was planning :)

Just wondering what the recourse is when this happens - it would probably not be feasible to contact Tai Hao for replacements - are there a few extra sets just in case?

I've talked with TH re missing keys and they will provide them.  I'm only doing this after everyone gets their keys, of course.  So if you have any missing keys, PM me and I'll take note of it.

The next and final batch will most likely be shipped on Tuesday.

Very colourful! You could almost go with the full hannerbeit look. Now I'm regretting not buying more sets :)

My caps arrived today, they look great! Too bad that my camera makes all the colours look messed up but I'm sure you have all seen enough pictures.

Have you tried going outside? That always helps my pictures.

I really dislike my postman.  I was home all day, went and got the mail this afternoon and found the pickup notice.   >:D  The time on the notice was 10AM, and he never knocked on my door.  Probably looked at my box, didn't feel like trying to make the package fit or knocking on my door.  Not the first time he has done this.  Bummed, now I can't pick it up till Monday.

Yeah, USPS has been on it the last few months.  I have seen packages sent from the west coast to the east coast in 3 days (cheapest shipping option).

Now's a good time for USPS shipping because Fedex and Passenger airlines sell their empty cargo space to the post office. It's a pretty slow time for both so there's lots of extra room to be sold.  In about 2 weeks, those same packages would be going by truck when those airlines start hitting peak volumes for Thanksgiving -> New Years.  Valentines and tax time are the next major bumps in shipping for the year.
