Inspired by TA Typewriter design and based off the Italian Keyboard Layout, the Origins Base Kit removes the pastel modifiers and bright alphas for a warmer base colour and more saturated UV-printed accent sublegends. These sublegends are based off the Italian Keyboard Main Layout, with some modifications for better coherency. The Novelties and Nom Kit are compatible with this set.

GMK UV-Printing is often referred to as padprinting, but has a different raised texture and is far more durable than padprinting processes. Due to the textural differences from the base plastic however some users don't enjoy using it, so by having most of the printing done outside the commonly used alphabetical keys, it aims to reduce the impact when typing and prolong the longetivity of the accent sublegends.

From my understanding, pātisserie by name is French in origin, but can collectively be used for pastries and cakes in Italy and Belgium too (and is used in other languages as well which is why I chose it given its familiarity). Also, Italians make their own style of macarons too! Items featured in R1 include a sfogliatelle, panna cotta, zeppole, and lemon semifreddo (from left to right). Hope that helps :)

Would the extension kit come in GMK CP as well and include a 1.25u space bar?
Currently, I have no plans to offer an Extensions Kit for the Alternative Base Kit and/or offer a 1.25u spacebar unless there's overwhelming demand for either. I feel the Origins Base works best on >=60% where you're able to use a lot of the UV-printed keys.

Hey! Appreciate the love from Italy.
Regarding an addition of a Cannolo novelty, I did consider it as it's a staple in Italian pastries but had trouble fitting it in with the aesthetics of the set. Just didn't turn out right.

I haven't added a dedicated SEA vendor in the past as both ZFrontier and Daily Clack are able to accommodate those regions, so to me there hasn't been much of a need to do so.

Definitely the are able to accomodate but having different vendors catering to different regions was to make process smoother, more efficient and arguably cheaper since you don't need to ship it across the world.
Zfrontier adds in DHL express into the shipping costs which represents a significant price increase for individuals who are more price sensitive, I've known many people who are willing to save on shipping especially for GMK sets a lot of us are struggling students. For DC you've to order above 200 which is more than 1 base kit (I'm guessing) to get free normal Aus post mail which takes about 3-4 weeks.
Lastly, I genuinely believe that there will be lesser carbon emissions from shipping within SEA region as opposed to shipping from AUS to SEA for each individual set. We need to save the earth it's hot enough as it is already, any hotter my GMK keycaps will start melting.

Tried different colours and options for accents but found it didn't work well. Not all sets need accents.

I'll definitely be picking up the base kit, novelties, deskmat (and I don't usually buy matching GB deskmats!), and some nom noms for the function row on my Sunsetter hahah. So, I suppose that means I'm all in, wow!
