By the way, i hope you know that you cant use those graphene 2u keys from Ergodox kit for an mit planck. The thing is Cherry profile is cylindrical. Those 2u graphene keys are made for vertical placement. So if place them horizontal then it will be not that comfortable because of edges.

Unfortunately R4 are all taken :(. P/P needs all 14 of them.

Yes, I just realized we can't use the graphene keys. If the space is impossible to obtain, then the only way is to use backspace in a pinch, but that would really sucks.

Ok i've talked to Yanbo and we decided against it, since there is almost 200 people in this drop. Its unfair to those people to make some changes. Sry.

There are some extra keys for row 3 in base set so you can use those. Though they are not blank... For the mit layout you can use 0/ins key from numpad. But making changes so late is not only dangerous but also very difficult.

Yes I understand. Thanks for trying though. I'm a grid user so space is no problem. For R3 I have no choice but to use pgdn & KP+.

T0mb3ry, at the risk of becoming too much of an annoyance, is it still possible for separate drop for "GMK Carbon Planck/Preonic Addition Kit"? This way it runs independently and avoids modification to the ergodox kit. The kit should contain:

- R4U2 white
- 2xR3U1 black
- 2xR3U1 orange
- 4xR4U1 orange

If you allow me, I will try getting in touch with MD directly for this.

At the risk of becoming too much of an annoyance, someone at MD discussions pointed out the need for extra spacebars, indeed they would be nice, I sand my spacebars, always buy extra in case casualties occur, it hasn't occurred yet, but it would be nice to buy many extras

Why am I telling this? - Well, If somehow another extras pack is launched, like the one priyadi wants, it would be nice if there is a separate/individual pack for spacebars

I think these extra drops could occur later too, priyadi, you can start a md poll, it might gain interest, they might run it with T0mb3ry's permission

Nah I don't think it would work. This is a now or never kind of situation. People who wanted Planck mod set might skipped the base set because they didn't see that possibility before. A full Planck set is too much of a niche it will be hard to reach MOQ, and people who got in the base set would get a lot of duplication and be reluctant to get in.

Besides, no GMK set has been redropped before, no? Even for SP, maybe only Jukebox has been dropped more than once. So, if a P/P set is going to appear in the future it will be for another colorset, unless a miracle happens today.

i don't want to stray from topic on carbon GB, but  1976 has r2 in SA and bunny's miami in DCS has r2  as well as coffee set r2. Perhaps Carbon in SA also re-open. ofcoure Mr jil_jil32 's commando 23 in SA will open R2 soon. They are all fabulous sets so that they could be launched more than once.
GMK? classic beige (9009 and 1953)? Blue on white(N5 blue from China but collect no orders here and V4 blue from OTD and oblivetti with joker and hammer)? Wob(too many )? not exact quite the same, but almost same.
i am sorry to talk about this which will be off topic on carbon GB.

With so much stuff being added, I would still be super happy about one additional novelty since I need 14 + esc to cover a split backspace top row... xD

I'm guessing 2.25u, since in the photos, they exceed 2x 1u keycaps

All the time, since the second update for novelties. Right after releasing the first mockup, i got several requests to bring the lambda back.

I've never tried to order more than 10 pieces on Massdrop but this makes sense since the shipping is weight based. Have you tried to contact MD support?

Are we allowed to order more than 9 sets on Massdrop? I'm having a mini groupbuy among my friends but it is not allowing us to do so.

Try to reach MD support stuff. I've already messaged Yanbo but he got weekend.

Afaik they can make bulk orders since they are registered as proxis on MD.
