I bought 2 set myself....
It would be fine since this is only the first week :D
Anyone know if there are MX to Alps stab adapter? Some old board I have only have the traditional alps stab, not sure if Costar stem will fit properly.

Would base+JIS cover a standard ISO layout? I guess so, even though the legends will be incorrect?
How far from MOQ is this?
Do you know if the alps mount for the iso enter is rotated or not?

It is not rotated on DCS Alps Yuri. I'd assume the same for this set.
It don’t own an iso alps board yet but I do plan on building one. So others will have to vote for or against the rotation of the mount, and I’ll design my pcb accordinglyDo you know if the alps mount for the iso enter is rotated or not?Do you know if the alps mount for the iso enter is rotated or not?

Actually, according to Melissa they can be either. I assumed people would want the vertical orientation. If this is not the case, please speak up!

Actually, I misunderstood your question and Melissa's answer. Here is a diagram of the options for the switch mount:Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/xwuhWjI.png)
Unless people speak up regarding a preference for the orientation on the right, I'll be proceeding with the horizontal orientation on the left.
What would be the average thickness of the keycaps?
After further investigation, the ISO Enter switch mount will indeed be rotated (vertical).
I'm planning on using a PCB based on Steezy60 (https://keebmeup.com/index.php?id_product=129&id_product_attribute=1856&rewrite=60-alps-pcb-ansi-aek-support-coming-soon&controller=product#/52-plate_add_on-no_plate_needed_0) and as far as I can see it has a vertical mount ISO Enter.Yeah, it supports the three common vertical ISO enter stem positions and PCB stabilizers is placed centered just like the MX-standard (I'm the designer). They are also open sourced and available here if you want to make it yourself: https://github.com/4pplet/Steezy60
All kits will be made

Also pulled the trigger on base and accents. Alps caps are rare.
Curious about the final numbers though!
RIP, 2 days too late to find this :( - there should be some newsletter for Alps-related group buys, I don't pay enough attention anymore since almost everything is MX-related. Looks like an awesome project, best of luck to you.

There will be extras early next year.
Looks good, especially without extras :thumb:Show Image(https://i.postimg.cc/1s3wzTgb/DCSalps-Pingmaster-Orders210913fin-Next2.png)
Is there any chance of a future run in MX?
Is Q1 2022 still on track?
Any updates?
Did you get any samples from SP?
This is finally the first day of March.
Can I get it within this month?
My housing and switches are eagerly waiting for the keycap to arrive.

Hi,
Thanks for the inquiry. Unfortunately, we had a late vendor payment and color matching the ABS keys to the PBT ones is proving trickier than expected. This will get pushed into Q2, but I'll update again when I have some approved color samples.
Reserved for updates.
Lets goooo!!!
BTW, are these all 5-side dye sub?

Only the legends are dye subbed.
Extras when?
How fragile are the DCS caps in regard to mounting, removing, remounting, etc?My DCS Sleeper has been quite solid so far
Received my set in, looks great but I have a few issues with the mods, particularly the vertical 2u mods on the numpad. The support material around the keycap stem is seating on the switch stem before it can fully seat visually on the board. They only go down half way on my stabilizer stems. The cap stems themselves also stick out further than the floor of the keycap. Is this all intentional due to the support material needed or an error? Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't sleeper ABS and MX? Completely different story from Alps PBT.
Alps mount is quite prone to breaking. ABS DSA is complete disaster in that regards in particular. But PBT DCS is reportedly better and less prone to stem break.

I’ll bring it up with SP and see what they say. Can you take a picture of the underside of the keys in question?

Thanks for looking into it! I have attached a pic of the underside, hopefully this helps!

Which keys are these? Enter and?
Hi all,
Due to a tooling mistake causing the keys to sit higher than they should, the vertical 2u Enter and + keys for the numpad will be remade and replacements sent out to all who purchased a Base kit. Stay tuned for more details.

Wait so these are alps mount, or am I misunderstanding?

I remember having issues with my Alps throwback set. Finally helped a bit when I made sure to not press the stem down too far on the switch. The way SP makes their alps stems on the space bars actually allows you to be able to press the stem further than intended into the switch.
