:/ sorry, I would've been, but I snatched a full size one up out of someone's sale. I would think others would be though. C'mon people.
I actually can get my hands on both. Which would you prefer? And what are you thinking?
I use an old Phantom plate as a lube plate, it works well enough for me, though widening the holes isn't a bad idea.
You also need the little diamonds (45 deg rotated squares) to sit the stems in
I find that if I mount a switch, unmount it, and remount it in another plate, the switch because a lot looser or it looses the tabs on the switch that hold it to the bottom of the plate. I don't really think this matters too much when it's all soldered up but I'd rather not do that.
I like the first one as well! Will it drive up the cost if there's a dedicated space to hold springs or brush/oil/grease?
I'll confess my suggestion wasn't original, I saw it on here first http://www.kbdmania.net/xe/index.php?mid=photo&page=15&document_srl=5942678I'm not 100% sure on what the sizes will be
No lube on clicky stems and slider guides in the housing, only a bit in the ends of the springs to dampen ringing. My Poker came used and had light oil in the clicky stems, and the noise and feel was completely inconsistent. Had to disassemble the stems and clean them all.
Show Imageand off to the cutter she goes. I'm doing a single one to check measurements but then a GB or a FS thread will be up!
I'm in for one. Will this come with more switch tools?
