I agree with this, and I believe this was also pointed out in the IC thread rootwyrm was running a while back for a full WYSE repro set. One problem I see with this is that there have been a lot of expensive group buys run lately and people's wallets may be hurting too much. I still think you would have a good showing with a full set GB though. The other problem is that the larger the GB, the longer it will take and more complicated it will be. rootwyrm was talking about doing windowed keycaps and offering different layouts for different keyboards, offering media keys for QFRs and such, whereas the moogle kit focuses on backwards compatibility with old key caps and new key boards. I think the main point of doing a WYSE only moogle is to do it quickly and efficiently. But if a moogle is there to make old WYSE sets compatible, then adding these two options would greatly increase the compatibility of a lot of those WYSE terminal boards. And I agree with your earlier point about the numpad, I should have added that to the form probably. I might redo it tonight when I get home.

My main purpose with running this IC was to gather some actual numbers of people who wanted more than just a moogle. It's one thing for someone to post "I'd be in if there was an ISO option", but I wanted to see some actual numbers. I thought maybe then we could present this to i3 to see if he would consider adding these options to the GB. I suppose we could run a contemporaneous GB if he doesn't want to add them.

This is Boost's GB...I don't even want these keys!

I am just gathering orders and fulfilling.

I am happy to change gears and start over again if Boost decides that's what we want to do.

:D

Doesn't matter to me. Alls I know is that WE ALL NEED WYSE

The poll lacks the option "0" for either set. I think a lot of people have chosen "Other" when they meant 0.

Except for a couple of other keys, I would only be interested in a ISO set myself. I know that Wyse's ISO Return keys were light grey, but I would prefer mine to be dark.

If I made a group order, I would make the 9-key set not just contain the 9 keys, but also the other modifiers necessary to convert from a Wyse ASCII, ANSI or 85 to TLK/ANSI with the exception of the keys present in a Moogle or Tsangan kit, plus maybe extra shift keys.
EDIT: Sorry, I did not see before that i3oilermaker's "WYSE Moogle Key GB" does contain the modifier keys. A traditional Moogle kit would not, though, mostly just adjust winkeyless Cherry G80 kb to winkeyful Filco/whatever. Loads of extra keys in i3oilermaker's kit if you have a Wyse PCE (like I do).
EDIT 2: The ~ (tilde) key is still missing. Necessary for adapting a Wyse ASCII to TKL.

I would much rather buy the whole kit. I think we would get more kits sold that way as well.
