[IC] Emacs symbol keycap
« on: Mon, 09 September 2013, 21:51:16 »
I would like to know if there is interest in having a GB for an emacs symbol R1 cap.

As we have the one for vim (much cooler :'(), I was thinking of making a batch order to qwerkeys of the emacs symbol:

I think the ideal would be to just take the white 'E' and print it on their purple cap.

Would you guys want one?

you need to make special ctrl shift meta alt keys to go with it

Actually why I don't like vim (that and org-mode).

You could always try evil or something like that and become member of the emacs master race.

Modes are the key to vim's power.  I've given vanilla emacs a genuine try, as well as its various vi emultaion modes and plugins, but none of them are as expressive as vim's modal interface.

I do have emacs style key bindings set up for vim in Insert mode. (Ctrl-A/E/K, etc.)

A purple emacs key would look pretty sexy.

I just have to discover if wasd keys can print it in white, as all the examples on their website are black  :blank:

They can do white on black pretty well.  OEM profile, FWIW.

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

I'd probably buy one (even if I am more of a vimmer). Still respect it.
