I just thought about it... Are you going to add some of your drawings to our packaging for all 60 of these?! I'm hopeful but would completely understand if you don't. That's a ton of extra time I imagine you'd be sinking into the project.

P.s. Dibs on the best cap... You'll know the one  ;D

You mean more than the individual package art I already make for these?

I was saying the individual package art, you gonna do that for all 60 still? :D

I always do.

10 down 50 to go.

All of these look fantastic! Is One of them a sloth? Makes me smile so hard

Hells yes!  Slo-fi mold!  Back by popular demand.

I think this sale is randomized but I would love to have the slo-fi on one of my boards. It looks so damn cute and goofy to me, I feel like it would be a joy to look at everyday.

If you're in the sale you may trade with others in the sale.  I will be placing them randomly on the list of 60.  Before I start shipping you will be given the option to know what you have and contact others on the list.

When the time comes I'll let people know of the procedure to finalize a trade before the keys are shipped.

So far an orange slow-fi is looking like being my favourite cap in this sale but who knows what's to come!

I think the rules are we are essentially: we get a pic of a cap assigned next to our name, then we can trade if we would like and both parties agree. I could be reading that wrong though.

edit: oops, binge beat me to it :P

I like the trading idea but there are two possible things to be gained from stating a preference - Binge may make the cap of your dreams when he might not have otherwise (if it's not made it can't be traded for) and if it is made whoever gets assigned it may have read I wanted it and trade it my way first.  No harm in hoping :))

But what I was meaning was this:

Some old molds, some new molds, and mixing these colors up in crazy ways. :)

Perhaps something new and shiny will usurp the poor sloth in my favourites list before 60 are done?  It would have to be awesome but this is Binge we're talking about - it could happen!

Sadly, there is very little to be gained by making requests.  I have a system to randomize the keys produced to the individual participants.  The likelihood of there being awesome surprises? Certainly.

And that extra money still goes in the pocket of the seller, not the artist.  How is that any different?

Well to me the individual would be doing me a favor in the end by giving up their gorgeous keycap.  It is a matter of perspective.  Not to mention I would argue that most if not all that made the buy and check on this forum often enough to catch it aren't scalpers but collectors themselves.

But I won't deny that such a thing could encourage some to try and scalp so Binge isn't wrong in the sense that it could encourage the act of scalping.  If someone wanted to sell their cap to be kind, or because it didn't match their color schemes, or because they decided they actually need the money why should they be punished?  Sorry lol but I do enjoy arguing, was a philosophy major in college. :)

It's scalping if someone sells you their spot for a profit.  If anyone does that you can PM me and their spot is forfeit and you can buy the spot at cost.  I'll refund them.

If someone is  trying to buy another's spot for more,  is that the same thing.

They don't have anything to lose by trying to,  unless we can forward names so they are dq at any chance of buying a spot at cost?

Well that's the point.... anyone who wants out can get out at any time, but they have to have someone who will take their spot.  It already happened the first day with Dante and Joey Quinn.

Just don't scalp your spot, if I find out I will blacklist the **** outta you.

Not sure if people can tell, but the colors I'm getting are made to be easily photographed and show a lot of contrast in the details.  It's a new method I'm using to make these colors, and frankly I'm impressed :)  Would love to hear thoughts from the crowd.

Not sure if people can tell, but the colors I'm getting are made to be easily photographed and show a lot of contrast in the details.  It's a new method I'm using to make these colors, and frankly I'm impressed :)  Would love to hear thoughts from the crowd.

I agree with you on that. The details are very easily visible and the colors are awesome! :thumb:

Since you are asking specifically: I think you accomplished the contrast and detail aspect to the color really really well. That looks amazing. However, on my monitor here at work (which I know is not color balanced), the color reminds me of uncooked pork which is not a personal favorite color of mine.

Not trying to be negative, I still love you work and I'm really excited to get my cap, but it seemed like you wanted honesty on the colors.

Maybe you should check out pictures of uncooked pork to see how the monitor is calibrated?

Would you like to see more keys with this sort of detail rendering or is the flat color (regardless of contrast) the most important part of the key for you?

Criticism of this single color is not the objective of my original question.

Looks orange to me  :thumb:

I like it, seems to have a lot of detail compared to my Lion Keyng

For that beauty the light needs to be juuuust right.  I'm trying to pull my keys away from that sort of object even though they are pretty in their own right.

Personally I like the detail rendering more.

I love the way the black came out in this picture as far as detail for example. The lion and keythulu show detail really well which is something I appreciate.  I was assuming it had more to do with photographic skill than what you put into the mixtures as I don't know much about mixing resins.

Again, sorry if I came out douchy as that was not my intent.
