BDN9 build using QMK and AutoHotKey to control iTunes
« on: Sat, 15 May 2021, 21:48:07 »
I wanted to give a little back to the community.  So, I documented my first build attempt with the Keebio BDN9 board.   I found that the BDN9 rev2 board is a perfect starter kit to get one familiar with soldering and QMK.   The following project link includes the QMK and AutoHotKey setup that I used to help control iTunes.

Enjoy

Nice build and the git is very well documented. Nice job.

Something like this has been on my to do list as well but I was hoping to include audio jacks. Not a mixer per se but inputs from different sources, one output with volume & mute built into the device.
Keeb.io Viterbi, Apple m0110, Apple m0120, Apple m0110a, Apple 658-4081, Apple M1242, Apple AEK II, MK96, GH60/Pure, Cherry g84-4100, Adesso AKP-220B, Magicforce 68

Thanks.   You mentioning headphone jacks reminded me of this project that hand built an amp then encased it in acrylic.   https://www.instructables.com/Crystal-cMoy-Free-Form-Headphone-Amplifier/

I have been thinking of doing something similar with a hand wired build to show off the microcontroller...henders future troubleshooting, but what the hell...no dust!
