GMK Stonks

Interest Check Form

Inspiration

The inspiration for this set comes from the current iteration of the Bloomberg Terminal Keyboard, the Starboard.
Intended to bring the terminal's interface up to modern standards, the Starboard combined the classic color-coded keys of the financial world with the form factor that users were accustomed to at home.
If it reminds you of GMK White on Black but with accents, front print, and new numpad legends, that's because it's GMK White on Black with accents, front print, and new numpad legends.

The base kit includes compatibility for most common keyboards including 40%, 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL, 96-key, 1800, CP, and full-size. It also supports ANSI, ISO, Tsangan/WKL, HHKB, F13, and more. The spacebars kit increases your options to include split layouts and boards using 6u space.

I own a Bloomberg keyboard and would be willing to help you do some color-matching. You might not want custom colors for everything, but there are a few of those that aren't great matches for the GMK stock colors.

100% would prefer this as an accent kit so I could use it with beige sets or WoB (Bloomberg terminals also came in beige with this accent kit). Otherwise very interested!

AWESOME SET. I was thinking about this after looking at 9009 a long time ago. I really think you should just make this an accent kit though. This will probably be sold for say 130-140$. When you could make this an accent kit to pair with wob and it really wouldn't cost much more plus people would get wob at the same time.

I'm probably going to end up spamming this on every new WoB set until it manifests, but icons-only 40's kit would rock. Literally has not been one since GMK WoB Hiragana

Add me in to the accent kit camp.

I like it and it looks good, but I really think it would do better as a standalone accent kit. WoB is regularly available on it's own, and at a much better price than this full kit would be. making this a smaller accent kit would make it far more enticing price wise.

I'd be far more willing to buy it as an accent kit. as it stands, even though I really like it, I wouldn't buy it as a full set. but if it were an accent kit, I'd be in 100%.

GMK kinda cooked rn... would this be possible to do with a PBT vendor? Love the concept, and like other's would be hesitant of using Bloomberg.... maybe use some derivative of Terminal.

WoB has sold…nearly 10K base kits? across Drop and the variants w sublegends/icons/micons.

Make an accent kit and you leverage existing sets. Make this a base kit and you compete w Drop who sold WoB base at 100$ in stock late last year and you’ll lose on price, compatibility, and turnaround since Drop’s getting their GMK sets months ahead of other vendors rn.

I really like it, just yesterday I watched so many Videos of Chyro and Bloomberg stuff. It would be really cool if you would somehow sell the colored keys alone without GMK WoB bc i think many of us already have GMK WoB and just want the "accents"

Is this based on a Wey keyboard layout? I have the original set from a Wey board. It is similar but you are missing lots of additional accents.

Everyone and their mom has a WoB set, would really make more sense to run this as an accent kit imho since the price will be easier to digest for everyone.

Also, colors in your set look 100x than whatever kit mito is trying to make - hope this runs!
