I might be legally too old to buy the novelty alphas, but I like the base set and will buy.
Some day I hope people will add windowed keys back in. Maybe they'll be useless when Caps Lock isn't a thing or indicator LEDs are built into every Case/PCB.

unless something has changed recently they have molds for offset and centered 6u, but it is expensive and not many people need it

SP DCS 6u Bars are not standard 6u spacing. I have confirmed with Melissa at SP that they only have one option for 6u which is centered and the posts on the end are only compatible with some vintage boards, POS boards and the razer black widow. Why
DCS: Aside from the relatively short lead times, I genuinely love the profile and typing feel of these keycaps. For those who are still stuck on the mindset that thin keycaps are inherently bad, I would argue that's only the case when it's paired with the low quality materials and OEM-tier manufacturing processes those are typically made with. The thinness of ABS DCS attributes to less dampening of switch feedback, even going as far as making tactiles feel more tactile due to this effect. Moreover the unique "chirpy" / thin sound profile, albeit polarising, further adds to what makes me and many others love it.
ABS: Not only is DCS PBT far more expensive than ABS DCS and thicker (thus losing a part of what I love about thin DCS), it's also just not possible for this design due to the white on pink keycaps as they require reverse dye-sublimation; which Signature Plastics can't do as of yet.
Wyse Legends: I personally enjoy the unique aesthetic this font provides and think it works well with the profile. I understand there are those who may prefer I use Cherry legends but this will not be a possibility for this set. If this is a dealbreaker for you, there are plenty of other wonderful sets that make use of great pastel pinks ;D

Quality is pretty much the same as GMK. SP have been doing great work for many years.

pantone is unable to provide us purple chips so we have to eyeball it. knowing SP qc is not great lately, i’m a bit scared that vert is gonna turn out bad. i asked aiwanei how we can tackle this problem, but i haven’t had any responses back yet. ;-;

That's not encouraging. What could be off? What's the issue with DCS QC lately? I don't own any of their kits but am excited for this one in particular-- are we on track to still receive these soon?
pantone finally re-stock their plastic chips. we'll purchase and send it to nebulant. i also sent an album of legends, as suggested, to avoid any confusion.
