I think if we give it a couple days, it'll prove a respectable amount.

This set looks great! I'm interested in using some SA profile keycaps :)

Can you check my order to make sure I'm in for 1 alpha, 1 mod, and 1 ergo?

Thanks!

I ordered 1 of most of the sets.  :D  I'm curious though, why not a larger multi-line text box for the address input?

Although personally I prefer low profile caps (ie. DSA profile), I think this would be a nice addition to my keycaps collection. If eventually the price end up in the acceptable range, I am in.

I would strongly encourage you to sign up for these if you like them. You can always drop out should the prices not reach your desired level. Problem is the prices will never go down if everyone were to sit and wait for it to drop before joining.

Just curious about the legends. Are they going to be rounded like the A in the title image, or straight like in the 2nd concept images?

I really liked the rounded legends similar to the round3 set.

I wish that the set was going to be as the concept image, the number row looks so good without the symbols.

With the alphas + mods sets, it would fit a poker II just fine (with a bunch of extra keys left over, of course).

It fits, but the profile of the keycaps are different from the stock keycap that on poker 2.

(picture stolen from jil_jil32)
stock keycaps on poker 2 is DCS profile( on the left in this picture)
the keycaps in this group buy is SA profile( in hte middle in this picture)

The commando GB just added a row 2 profiled escape key for 60% boards. Is that something we could do if there was enough interest?

Ohhhhhhh, that's what all that escape business was about? I was so confused during that whole conversation  :blank:

I've always just used a tilde key in the corner instead of an esc.

Once again, since it's the weekend, we have to wait until monday to hear back from Melissa, but as I've said earlier in this thread, I am currently waiting to hear back. It will be added to the Modifier set, and shouldn't affect the price more than a dollar or so.

A couple notes:

SP Only has one font they use, this will be done in the same font as all other SP products. If someone could post an example of some SP Keycaps so we can show what that font looks like, I would appreciate it.

I want to keep this GB open to orders until we hit 25 ErgoDox, assuming it continues to look like it's possible.
Here's up to date numbers

Base - 43
Modifiers - 41
Numpad - 21
Tsangan - 27
Ergodox - 12
ISO - 5
Gamer pack - 14

I think a couple more days and we can hit that 25 for ErgoDox. I know it's a huge price break, and a few people will drop out if we don't hit it.
And I also know that there aren't a lot of other ergodox options out there, because the numbers never get up there. So tell your friends, maybe sign up for a second set.

Hell, I'm probably going to sign up for a set, on the very off chance that I might get an ergodox down the line.

I'm honestly surprised ergodox set broke 10 :D Maybe it can actually hit 25!

Here is a picture (not mine) of an R4 set, which should have the same font:

I'm actually rather fond of the SP legends. I'd also definitely be in for a 60% esc key

The last picture where the spacebar looks different is actually the side view of the keyboard, so that would actually be your CTRL key, the other ones above it is the cross section from the spacebar, and its rounded like that

Do you just mean pcb-mount cherry stabilizers? I think all ducky boards use them.

Whether they are "bad" or not is a matter of opinion.

I added an ergodox kit to your order, no need to worry.

Just put your country for now, and I'll send you a PM when I collect payment.
I didn't know I needed to add additional line, since I'm not overly familiar with Google docs

Technically, we could get everyone who is buying an ErgoDox kit to double their order for it. Then they'd be getting 2 and be paying about $10 more. Shouldn't be hard to sell it off at cost price to all those people who will be jelly after the GB is over.  :p

Thanks a lot guys, I think this set is going to be very popular and successful, I hadn't added a mods kit since I didn't want to commit at that price, but now since we might hit good tiers, I'll add it later once I feel satisfied with the price tiers.

Not now, I'll let you know when since I'm still confused as I will be using this set on my Edox, and won't really require the mods set, just getting it for future if I use the set on some other layout. Thanks though.

any chance for geekhack key being included? or other novelty design?
this might add to the desirability of the set and bring more people in.
