My first round. The MD order form is a pain if you want to get lots of extras. Anyway... 300$ later... Let's hope my accountant believes the "I need this for work" spiel.

So many people with accountants..

RIP wallet once again. I think I need a proxy for this, otherwise I'll end up paying $100 in customs.

I've never tried it! If it weren't for Sindarin I don't think I would've bought anything from this GB.

I'm pretty sure the Massdrop counts 'kits sold' not orders. Still, off to a good start  :thumb:

Yes

That's what I thought but wanted to make sure before ordering one. I'll stick with just the one since it's PBT.
First Granite set = Common Kit + Elven Tongue + Icon Mods + RGB(YO) Icon Mods + Numpad + Bonus + 7u space bar.
Whew.

Already put my order in, but thinking about putting in for more. Just to confirm, MD takes the funds once the drop ends, correct? Not when I place my order?
I need more keyboards to hold all of these keycaps.

That's how it's worked in the past. I used to use the bitcoin option to make sure, but it looks like they no longer have that available.

Yeah, because the price might go down.

Pretty sure the prices have hit rock-bottom by now.
Unless Md contacts SP to work out additional drop points.

I really, really wanted to buy this set because of the Tengwar set. Not gonna happen if I have to buy 3-4 other sets just to complete my keyboard and end up with loads of useless keycaps.

And it is DSA, which I despise.

sigh

I hope everyone that buy this set will be satisfied. I will let it pass.

I did join the last drop (3rd Granite drop) and ordered lot of caps:
  • RGB ICON (1x)
  • ICON PRO MODS (1x)
  • BONUS PACK TEXT (1x)
  • EXTRA HOMING (2x)
  • BONUS PACK ICON (1x)
  • COMMIN KIT (2x)
  • TEXT MODS (1x)
  • GAMER KIT (1x)
  • RGB TEXT (1x)
  • ENTER+ESC (1x)
  • NUMPAD (1x)
  • ICON MODS (2x)
I love Granite and will ever love it! (: Due to some problems with the printing I had to send all my caps back and I am now waiting for the replacement... I was looking forward to order in this round the Secondary Legends kit, but sadly it does not match with the Poker 2... ):

Anyway... Thanks Matt3o for such a great set! I really hope this is not the last time we see the Granite set!

Any chance of adding the pipe/slash key to the elven set? Seems a bit silly to buy the base set for just one key and spacebar (and the function keys if you go full size), which you can buy separately anyway. Or is it supposed to go with the HHKB backspace :) ?

have to check with massdrop on that.

Matt3o, just to check, is the pipe/slash key still being considered for the Elven Tongue kit?

Would the price listing on the "Transactions" page simply change with the price drop? Doesn't look like it has yet. Here's to hoping  ;D

Yes, the price will change in the transactions page and will update your order automatically before the drop closes and before you are charged the drop price.

Just keep in mind that if you paid with PayPal, your payment will be rejected at the end of the drop since the charge amount changed. It's not a huge deal since you'll be notified immediately and you'll have 24 hours to re-authorize payment with the new amount.

So many orders! I'm thinking about picking up a second set. I sold the first one I had because I couldn't deal with DSA, but I just love the design so much I think I'll be disappointed if I don't get a set from the final round.
