If I'm not mistaken, the plates don't allow for switch top removal. Why's that?

They do not support switch top removal.  I kept it as-is to simplify the modification of the plate for different layouts during the design process and to get it moving into manufacturing sooner.  Manually replacing each switch hole takes time.

Is there an extra pink top? Or full cyan? Willing to trade silver top for pink top or take full cyan. Thanks!

Damn, I'd have done it for you. Takes about 2 minutes in librecad.

Cyan is closer to this IRL with undertones and highlights due to being a metallic surface

Also the gold is different than the prototype, it's more gold than the yellow-orange of the prototype.

Left is old colour

That's a pretty neat pink color--actually looks copper on those photos.  I've wanted to see a copper-toned keyboard for a long time.

https://mega.nz/#!wc1GxJCZ!S8u0LMQsIJ6comAOsLRORL7xTqgP7NK5O3Io_hN5fyI Keyboard files.  No official license but I ask that you make any designs that you base on it fully open source.

THERE ARE ISSUES WITH THESE IN THE PLATE AND THE WEIGHT.  Nothing major and it's easily fixable.

This is amazing, 27, I have never seen anyone completely open source their custom before!

Any chance the keyboard you're bringing to Toronto is the original orange-gold? I actually kind of prefer that one to the new gold, haha.

Going for a black and "gold" aesthetic so the underlighting is a pass for me.

Planned on doing anodized aluminum but, after talking to 27, might end up going with brass to match the weight.

If you're doing brass you should look into a GB.  I know I would be interested. Might bring the price down a bit too
