I'm a new-ish user and new to the community. I've got an FC660C and done a trade or two on /r/mm. I've recently started drooling over artisans and thought it'd be a good idea to offer bitcoin since the price recently ramped up... Bad idea.
I got scammed because I wasn't paying enough attention and fell for a deal that was too good to be true.
foxSdruvia is listed as "shady" on the [universal scammers list](
https://www.reddit.com/r/UniversalScammerList/wiki/banlist) but he got me early this morning for a little bitcoin.
He got called out in a pokemon trading post [here](
https://www.reddit.com/r/pkmntcgtrades/comments/5qkhk9/usus_h_playset_of_shayminex_regular_art_w_bitcoin/).
Sent me some sketchy [google doc](
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wfv4SMFeZGMXjZe2pvuBVFQqOKRgzqABMjQpu3RXI2k/edit#) of trades from some pokemon community. It wasn't until later I got ahold of the user he claimed to be on Facebook and confirmed it wasn't him.
Sent me a shady [timestamp](
http://imgur.com/a/PLte1) too. If you look closely, you can see the pen ink is slightly pixelated and the angle kind of doesn't match up.
The deal was done for a little bitcoin, which was quickly moved a couple times and came to rest [here](

It was very early in the morning and I was excited to make the deal. Price was too good to be true and I didn't do enough vetting or confirmation. It wasn't until I started to wake up a little bit that I started to realize I should dig deeper and message the guy he claimed to be via an external site.
All in all it was a cheap price to pay for a good lesson learned. I've seen posts where people get scammed for much more (like Type-S's).
