Airline Tablet Headrest Mount
« on: Sun, 02 July 2017, 17:14:01 »
Hello,

I have been flying for work more often lately and tend to have high productivity on the plane (I am currently typing this using inflight wifi). My main issue is the poor ergonomics of my neck (I am taller than 6'). I typically use a 15" laptop or a 10.8" Microsoft Surface 3, depending on the the space of the seat I am in.

During this flight today, it occurred to me how nice it would be if I could strap my Surface to the back of the headrest in front of me and then use a wireless keyboard and touchpad combo like one of the ones featured here:

on my lap or the tray table. This way, I could keep better posture and not bend my neck so low. After some Googling, I came across this:

http://www.airclipz.com/
https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Tablet-Travel-Airplane-Blue/dp/B00I29UXLW

It looks like a good start, but ideally I would still like access to be able to type on top of the tray table and to mount the Surface as high as possible.

Do you know of any other products that are similar to AirClipz, or some other way of accomplishing this?

Best Regards,

Glass
