Keyboard of the Month - January - Vote
« on: Tue, 13 February 2018, 09:16:21 »
Welcome everyone to the FOURTH YEAR of Keyboard of the Month. Our Keyboard of the Year vote has recently ended, and adamski was our winner, but now you guys get to vote on the winner for January 2018!

We had three boards with two +1s this month so i had to make a decision, and I have chosen Puddsy's Hubble Mira. Apologies to dgneo and MMKB, but unfortunately that's the way it is :(

So here we go, your nominations are:

Puddsy's Hubble Mira

As always, the poll will be open for seven days, good luck to all participants!
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

That Hubble has a defective space bar
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The keyboard got sent to the desk, but when it was first used, the creator discovered space just wasn't working right, so a mission was performed to correct the space. Apparently, they didn't take account for the angle of the space once it was in use on the desk, or something like that. The results were beautiful! The correction mission was a success, and Puddsy was finally able to enjoy space via Hubble... I mean... That's probably how it went. LOL :p
