Considering this is an IC, you haven't referenced your choosing of green subs in the OP, and still didn't explain it, what's green represent in the Arabic World and Islam?

Not a fan of the "two of the same legend on one key" look. Preferred how GMK Greek Beige did their legends (which is, to my understanding, how keyboards with Greek legends actually look)

You're right, blue sublegends were ePBT and red subs were GMK

Please add R4:Tilde/GraveAccent/ذ  - this would make possible to fit this key onto 60%/65% ISO layout without relegating it to FN layer (R3:Pipe/Backslash is already present in your kit).
Please consider doubleshot arabic legends - yes, I know, GMK does not do tripleshots so arabic legends would be same color as latins in such case.

I love the idea of an arabic set, but why not make it worthy of its ‘classic’ title and use text + icon with blue sublegends, the way Cherry would have done (and possibly did do) it?

That said, if you wanna go icon mods, call it Modern Arabic instead. I think it'd be way more fitting, I personally don't really care about the name but I can already see a lot of people here that are complaining about "wrong legends". Either go icon+text, or call it something else.

In one of the chapters in the Quran, the colour green was used to describe the colour of garments and cushions of people in the afterlife. So, green has been associated with prosperity. Historical significance with flags I am not versed, but I am sure this has major influence.

OG ISO-DE and ISO-UK sets used to have icon mods..

pretty much every variant of ISO cherry sets use icon mods because there is no sufficiently elegant way to include text on 1.25u left shift and ISO enter (though there are some minor exceptions). ANSI cherry sets almost always used text + icon, the only notable exception being schneider OEM stuff which was obviously  a random request to their preferences, and even then the enter remained text + icon.
