Cooking isn't the problem, it's HANDLING.

For example, they've tested most homes, and there is significant fecal contamination of people's kitchen sinks, BECAUSE they wash meat in there.

If you're cutting up meat, then scratch your face.. Bam COVID.

"It turns out that for a decade, whenever Trump wanted to get a loan, or make a deal, he would inflate the value of his real estate. For instance, suggesting that his 11,000-square foot penthouse was a 30,000-square foot penthouse.
And the attorney general of New York knew that Trump's property values were inflated because when it came time to pay taxes, Trump undervalued the very same properties.
It was all part of a very sophisticated real estate practice known as “lying.”

On the brignt side finally we can get some useful stats on how many relatively fit and healthy people (it's a manual job) have no symptoms compared to those who need a week off to recover or actually get close to dying.

If 80% didn't even notice there's a good chance half the world's already had it and the worst has passed.

Edit: also isn't this showing that even with poor social distancing and in an enclosed space only 25% of people are infected?  That's not very impressive for a 'really contagious' disease...

Having never knowingly had a flu-like disease (at least as an adult) as I understand it you're supposed to be so ill you spend days in bed, so if they can downplay and carry on working it's just not that bad.

As I said, would be good to get some real world relevant stats though we probably never will.

The virus affect different people differently, just as flu affects people differently.

One can get the flu, and NOT be bed-ridden. Same with dat-Korona

A real case of influenza is horrible.

I have had one perhaps something less than once a decade in my adult life, and for about 2-3 days you almost feel like death would be a relief from the whole-body pain, headaches, nausea, alternating fever and chills and other symptoms that cannot be medicated or soothed away. Then another 3-4 days of feeling better but still really bad on the order of a severe cold.

And then you wake up one morning with the disease over and you feel like a whole new person and can't wait to get back to life as usual.
"It turns out that for a decade, whenever Trump wanted to get a loan, or make a deal, he would inflate the value of his real estate. For instance, suggesting that his 11,000-square foot penthouse was a 30,000-square foot penthouse.

Sounds nasty.  I'm just entering my third decade as a biological adult so maybe I'm just lucky.  Then again I got something that made me stupid and clumsy for six months so maybe not

And 'percentage of infected people who are bedridden vs not' is, to me, a more relevant and useful stat than the 'percentage of population who have the disease and happen to work in a profession that gets tested plus people who got it bad so got tested' or 'percentage of people who were infected and tested who then died, even if they were dying anyway' which is what we are given.  Even if these figures are accurate (which is questionable) they don't show anything like the full picture.

They always keep the details sparse.

Most places are letting it roll.
