How will B-stock Units be handled for people that pay during the group buy phase? Will some people just get unlucky and not get an A-stock unit or will you order extras in case some boards do come with manufacturing defects?

I will be ordering a few extras. With the love tkl I ran, the only B-stock was due to my own fault, so I am not expecting to need to replace any but I will be ordering extras just in case. Any extras will go up for sale after GB boards ship though.

yup. similar to kc mounting except that one side doesnt have a poron gasket. plate will be isolated by plastic tabs. you can change if you want the poron gasket to be on the tabs you put on the top or the bottom in order to change the feel.

i am not sure exactly right now. maybe a few in each of the colors. packaging will be higher quality this time around to prevent any damage due to shipping. will be denser foam than last time, and will be packaged in a more well fit custom box.

What do you mean by desk saver? Is it because of the thin bezels and the 0.25u gap between the f row, alphas, and nav cluster? Or is it something else?

- Side profile is very similar to 1.2 OG
- Fixed cable as 2.0 OG
- Rear horizontal weight similar to 2.0 OG

Side profile based on what I liked from older OTD boards, with inspiration from TGR 910 CE to do the parallel cut on the back on the bottom of the board. I prefer the look of fixed cable so that is why I chose that. And the nameplate on the back is inspired by the 8XV2.0.

PP = polypropylene. DK Saver layout as in it is an F13 layout keyboard just like the DK Saver which started it.

Sounds like a good idea, don't wanna have the cable be the point of failure and then having issues finding another pcb to replace it.

Fixed cable using either a JST connector that will be provided and you have to assemble that, which isnt too hard, or you can solder the cable straight to the PCB.

Late April at the earliest I'm thinking. Because of COVID-19 things have been pretty busy, I am still waiting for my prototype to be shipped out, once I get that that will gauge when I think I will host the GB.

Thread is outdated - I believe it's been switched to a USB-C port design rather than fixed cable. It's been a while so I'd check the discord for more.
