1. Replace the 1953 key with old windows key.
2. Add 1u size 0 key, R5 level
3. Change the ISO as the common one as you have mentioned at the below.

Thanks all your supports for the IC here.

Please note that there is no need MOQ for the base and 1800 set cause my company will pay the order.
And we don't worry to the rest sets if in my warehouse.
But for the ISO 4 keys for MOQ, the quantity is not decided yet, I will try my best to cover the rest quantity if we don't hit the MOQ.

I will come back with the revised renders to you ASAP.

That’s regrettable to the Classic Beige kits that being cancelled for MOQ reason in the last year.
Photekq gives the much valuable advice to me when I tell him that I want to restart this project to who are faithful to the original CHERRY G80-3000HAU set in about 2 weeks ago. Thank you so much, Photekq.
The idea about this set is no need IC in my opinion because already done by Classic Beige.
I am sure that the GMK 9009 is not beginning when I want to restart the Classic Retro. And we are confident to do it without a doubt.

I am xiaodian, one of the new member here even you don’t know me yet, working at the distributor of Cherry in China, a fan who also loving the keyboard and keycaps just like you. The set be revised from Classic Beige but naming as GMK Classic Retro.

The highlight for this set including R5 level, Old windows and Menu, Cherry 1953 logo Enter key(Wording with double-shot, icon with printing),
Cherry 1953 logo on LED key be printed, Thanks so much Photekq's idea for it, so I put it directly into the set, sorry for not telling you yet.

The GB will be coming in some right time, but due to some special reason(Miami Night) you know, I am not sure the exact time and the GB place for it and I will come back to you ASAP.

The kits are certain at this time, up to a point, but could revised upon your good advice.
So please don't heisitate to give your comment at here.

What's with the '1953' text?

I would guess you'd want to include another 1.25u window key, I would think people might not like that key.

Yeah, In the 1953 keys, I will consider add another old window key on the right side.
The 1953 is the Cherry's birth year.
But GMK not creat a beautiful 1953 wording...

Thanks a lot.

Great set, but the other one by justnits looks to be too similar, and already is in production. Plus, his has extra keys to add that splash of color.

Except the traditional Cherry icon LED key, R1 Level.

I spent some time to add the CHERRY ALL LOGO to which place.
Enter key is the perfect choice, 2.25u size is enough could display the LOGO and commonly used key.
Capslock is a little small maybe.

Thank you for your suggestion.

looks like there's a lot of GMK sets Q1 2016.

Are we expecting to see a similar price point (as compared with 9009)? Also, will this be a GB or ready stock like Valentines?

This time will be done with GB way.
But we will order some extra sets for long selling for who need it later.

You know, some special key Just like Cherry Logo Enter,
GMK doesn't has the tooling so they should creat new wording mould tooling at first, and this will cost more money for that.
I will give a reasonable price to here.

Ah I see what you responded to!

My question is: is it possible to get any of these buttons into these cap icons into the group buy (marked in red)

I like the set but I have a few suggestions.

1. Either replace the 1953 key with another 1.25 Winkey or add another 1.25 Winkey.
2. For the ISO kit don't use #' and |<>. These keys are from DE ISO which is very common in this colour scheme and does not match the rest of the ANSI set. I would recommend you do US ISO like this : http://puu.sh/nRaJy/baefa7c22d.jpg
3. It would be very nice to see some HHKB compatibility keys in the extra set, as the HHKB layout is becoming more and more popular : http://puu.sh/nRaT7/e8ec8d7ca3.jpg

Oh, I am sorry to misunderstanding your meaning.
We choose the wording this time, not add icon in this set.
Because we could see the more traditional keyboards by Cherry is this one.

R5 additions are interesting, but either go all-in or dont. Can we get 1.25 Ctrl, Alt, Winkey, and fn in R5 and 1.5 Ctrl and Alt in R4? need options to go both ways, and that's a lot of keys... what's the reasoning on the R5 keys?

i would also like to see beige '~' and '|\' keys, but those aren't necessary, just my preference

Yeah this is great.
Good basic set. Not too much clutter. Not too many keys that will drive up the price.

according to the OP:

Enter - Doubleshot Cherry legend + Pad printed Cherry logo

Pad printed cherry key and 1953.

so the one that might jack up the price is the doubleshot cherry legend (text) since custom mouldings needed.

this kit is almost like a re-run of photekq's Classic Beige with a few added novelties like the printed Cherry Enter and 1953 (same idea of the 1976, I presume but an extra Win key to replace this would be great!!)

I like the set but I have a few suggestions.

1. Either replace the 1953 key with another 1.25 Winkey or add another 1.25 Winkey.

3. It would be very nice to see some HHKB compatibility keys in the extra set, as the HHKB layout is becoming more and more popular : http://puu.sh/nRaT7/e8ec8d7ca3.jpg

I will fix up the 1st problem and follow your advice for the 2nd one.
And will think about 3rd within some time.

Thank you so much.

Enter key, cherry wording is double-shot, icon is printed cause so complicated.
All the LED key, front wording like pause"break" and Windows Menu keys are printed too.
The 1953 wording and all others are double shot.

自己人就用中文了
1.你们准备包moq吗 毕竟9009在开团 这个很难有足够多的人参吧
2.价格求不要像情人节那么离谱
3.确定要做R5的话 1倍数字0也加一颗R5的吧
No need MOQ for the base set and 1800 set.
But for ISO set.
We will consider with a reasonable price.
Thanks for your choice.
But here English is better.
