Hey everyone. Just wanted to let those that are interested know, this project isnt dead in the water, its just parked for a few months. Because of the delays on LedZep and Drifter, its pushed back the release of Terminal R2, and along with it, Skidata. We still plan to get this going, but we have to run / fulfill Terminal R2 first. The Terminal R2 IC is going up in the next week.

as most says, i also prefer base kit with sperate orange and blue Mod.
You have said you have bought the R1 round , i think you would know well that the full layout N9 base color with V2 orange legend is more beautiful than the N9 alpha with V2 mod just as your terminal colorway.
Of course i am looking forward to your terminal R2. Very fabulous no matter renders or real keycaps.

Thats really good news! Because I was worried Terminal and Skidata would run back to back or with each other.. that make affording both pretty tough.

Kits are far from final. There will probably be a OoB base kit, Orange mod kit, and a blue accent kit. Not sure about relegendables yet, last time they cost a fortune.

I sure hope not! When Skidata+ ran the first time I believe the dollar was a bit stronger than it is now. It’s currently pretty weak against the Euro which is why I’ve been conservative with the keys in >Terminal_ R2.

Euro to USD November 2015 = Approx $1.08
Euro to USD June 2018 = Approx $1.18

Not a huge deal on a $60 kit. On the larger base kits, thats $10-12 higher.

From what I understand, too, GMK wasn't crazy about producing those caps. Once Im done with >Terminal_ R2 Ill start talking to Christoph a bit more regarding this kit and figuring out what were going to do.

All of our sets this year were pushed back due to manufacturing difficulties. We are still planning to run this in the very near future.

TKC are a vendor themselves and a very successful one at that, this has nothing to do with Massdrop or anyone else. I'm not completely aware of the timeline they're looking at but assuming Sanctuary runs through October (the set they're doing before this one) I'd assume we're maybe looking at a near-Christmas launch; again, I can't speak for them but if you want a guesstimate there you have it.

The original skidata orange mod kit didn't include full coverage for 75%. Was missing the right column of keys in the correct profiles

I’m mobile so I can’t share the files. BUT I was planning to basically copy Terminal R2 and change the green to orange. So there would be a base kit, all N9 with orange legends. Then an orange modifier kit. On the fence about the 40 kit we did; not sure this will have the same steam that Terminal gets. I’d also like to do relegendables like the last Skidata ha.

Any thoughts?
