I come to this forum to learn how to build a keyboard.
« on: Thu, 03 September 2015, 22:19:12 »
Hello. My username's Vozella.
I am also part of the LinusTechTips forum. 'Charger' from that forum shared this site in a thread about building keyboards, so I'm here.
The main reason I'm here is because after trying to find the perfect keyboard just for me, I couldn't find it.
So I decided I'm going to make my own keyboard that suits my needs.
Here's what I have so far: http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/4254aca34809c3153d9e
I think I'm going to be asking a lot of questions since I'm a newb, so I thought I'd introduce myself since there's a sub-forum for that.

Where do I see my notifications?

If you're using the default theme, there should be a "notifications" button on the top orange bar. Click it to go to the notifications page.

Welcome to Geekhack. You might find the Atomic keyboard kit parts interesting.
It is not a perfect match to your layout, but close. One extra column (right, left or middle) and a bit different on the bottom row. Maybe you could get your bottom-row layout with a custom plate, but the PCB supports all PCB-mounted components otherwise.
