Hey. I’m very happy that I can finally share with you GMK ART.
As an enthusiast of art, I loved the idea of transferring the biggest and most known
paintings on keyboards, but I still wanted to keep it simple.
Most of the paintings I used were painted on canvas, hence I immediately knew
that the main color of this set has to be cream! But wait, there's more!
I added a pink twist, connecting classical painting with street art.

L9 or WS1 would probably look really nice, WS1 for minimal and L9 for pristine, and both use CR legends just like this. It'd be interesting to use these on macro columns if you do consider this as just an addon kit!

I compared all of these colors and they weren't what I wanted to go for. Ral 9001 is more warm and creamy, its a very subtle beige color.

If possible, it would be cool to see more than just portraits. Starry Night, The Last Supper, Creation of Adam, The Wanderer, etc. I like this set a lot but the novelties seem a bit sparse in choice. I also find it funny that all the street art is just defacing other pieces :))
Not all of them can be made sadly without breaking the overall theme and style of novelties. But if you want to see Starry Night you might want to look at enter key :D

I can tell a bunch of effort was put into this set, and I'm a fan. Here are a couple of my criticisms:
1. Add accent alice spacebars
2. Add more novelties
1. That's something I'm working on right now, also I'm considering creating accents kit.
2. Always open for suggestions!
I feel like an accent kit featuring the ultramarine blue that's in "Girl with an Earring" would be fantastic.
I like the idea but adding one more color could make some more problems with how set looks overall. I will try and see how it looks. Thanks!

imo, I would want some 1.5 novelties for a WKL and possibly a novelty for the caps lock spot to balance out the novelty enter key.

I went back and I think you're right. I agree. This is an important improvement and an opportunity to add another novelty artwork.
These renders need to be corrected since kitting wasn’t final when they were made. But I’ll look into what you said and see how can I add more novelties.

This may have been answered before but any possibility of the 3 common 40s keys in the base kit (assuming a full 40s kit is not feasible). GMK Maestro and others have done this and were still able to price competitively so I'd be interested to see if that works here. Great looking set and love the novelties!

- A banana duct-taped to the wall

Novelties are getting a rework (some of them). Street art enter novelty is getting a fresh new look and I'm adding 2 more novelties that will go on control keys. Also the kitting should be better since there will be more keys overall. Deskmats are also in the works right now so stay tuned!

if only the color was WS1 instead of RAL9001, it would be a instant buy for me!
There are other sets that offer WS1 color way and since I wanted a more unique look and feel of canvas I decided to go with 9001.

The more I look at this set, the more I love it. The cream is so warm and tender. I have so many keycap sets that I want to buy, I hope I'm able to stagger them out through the year. Do you have a target GB Date in mind yet? Also are there more upcoming renders? I am very curious to see this kind of cream color on a blue board.

hands look thicker because they are. I added a shadow to keep it similar and easily recognizable. Normal lines will be the same when it comes to painting or street art

I'm very hesitant to add these kits since there's little to no interest in it, around 1% when it comes to nordeuk kits. Maybe that will change in the future.

I absolutely love those novelties but are you sure it's possible to doubleshot them? Those lines look a lot thinner than the minimum 0.25mm required.
All the novelties were done with GMK standards in mind, right now I'm waiting for quotes so I should know if they are correct soon.

In my excitement, I also forgot to suggest 2x 1.5u Super keys and 1x Art key to allow support for Mac 7u bottom row users.
Since kitting has been updated (at least novelties), wanting to bump this again. I'd like to buy this either way, but 1.5u Super keys really go a long way :D

Oh wow, I didn't know that was a Banksy piece.Yeah it's a direct art reference, which is why it works well as a deskmat for this set, given the street art aspect too.
However I wonder how many people who will get the deskmat will get that it's irony/humour is from Banksy.
I do think it might be a nice idea for the OP to at least add a section in his IC to give attribution/thanks to the artists of the references he's using. Even though the majority of them are world-reknown, I think some acknowledgement of the references he's deriving inspiration from would be in good taste (dead people deserve a thanks too!), but it's not really a huge issue in the end. Fair-use only covers transformative use, which is generally parody, commentary, or critique. This is effectively a trace of a section of an art piece used purely for commercial gain and not for education, so it'd be a very hard sell that it's fair-use. It would really be no different from me taking Balloon Girl:

Historically the kb community hasn't really been one to shy away from IP-use, a la Metaverse or 95NEON before the drama, but there's also a bit of a difference from using abstracted iconography for novelties and using a portion of someone's art nearly verbatim. Again, there's metric tons of faux Banksy merch and I doubt he'd chase this, it's just that maybe the irony isn't lost on me that a set called GMK Art has a deskmat that's completely derivative of someone else's work. And to clarify, it's not an issue with use of the quote. Maybe re-write it in a way that's not so on-the-nose and not have elements of the original typography.

Many of you said that you aren't the biggest fan of this pink color (MG1), others have repeatedly emphasized that it would be great if I could color this set even more.
I've been working with a color book for several days and I think we have it! I would like to turn the pink color to hot ruby, more precisely ruby red c, which in my opinion will be a great contrast to ... blue.
Blue color (7453 c) will be an additional color - you will be able to get it in accent kit, although you might also find it in novelties - I'm thinking to make it a second variant of my street art novelties (joined by ruby red c).
From the beginning, I thought about one more distinct color, and your suggestions confirmed that it was a good idea.

To be honest I was even considering not posting updates about that since it's so similar when you look at renders. I'm sure you guys will like it better, especially on novelties.
With all the colors PBT might be the move like some have mentioned.
There are 3 colors in the base kit and 1 other color in the accent kit. Sorry, but I won't abandon the manufacturer at this stage, with the level of interest this set has, this would be just a bad idea.

Thats what interest check is for. I can't justify adding a kit when out of 1200+ responses I got 7 questions about NorDe kit. I would love to give more possibilities to more people but if they sit silent during IC phase, they won't see anything for them in GB :(

Look, I get how this works, I've seen enough amazing sets with and without international ISO support. This is an enthusiasts market and without being more involved, you won't get the set you're after.
Of course it's not the end of the world as there's still the ISO enter but my OCD in me will get the better of me......eventually. The only exception I will make is with GMK Jags which is an insane set (in my personal opinion). That being said - GLWIC > GB
