If anyone strips their screws like I did you will need, M2.5 6mm and 10mm flat torx screws.

I just finished building everything and realized they didn't include enough screws for me.... What are the case screw dimensions...

I'm pretty sure the 4 15mm are m3 and the rest are m2.5. I need TR10 for those and TR8 for the rest.

It's easy to measure and get the dimensions.

Hold on, so is it M3 or M2.5? I feel like screw dimensions should be part of the GB details considering how often I get kits with missing screws...

It's m3, I just changed mine yesterday. The 4 15mm's that go on top don't screw in with the same driver for me but looks like the thread size is the same so it should be good for those as well.

For sure the dimension is M3. I had a dozen of duck eagle/viper in various versions and various colors. I bought more than a hundred of extra screws according to this dimension and they fit well. Since I found the bolt holes of M3 5mm screws coming along the kits are not very well fit to my screw driver, I usually use these extra screws for assembling.

It's common for a kit to have the same diameter on all screw holes for one part of the construction. If you design a kit or manufacture it, you will realize it's unnecessary complicated, and silly to use different diameters for screw holes in this situation. So it's impractical to have both M3 and M2.5 in this viper/eagle case.

For anyone that's ported to VIA do you know if the indicator LEDs are still supported? Love them and would prefer to keep them working.

Does anyone know what the defaults are for the status indicator LEDs at the top? I caps lock is the second position from left to right, but I don't know what the other ones represent.

I think it's the 3 locks, power and then all of the rest are layers.

Just finish building the Viper with a plastic full plate, retooled MX Blacks, 50g springs and lubed with 3204. Sounds really great with minimal case echo. The anodization turned out a little coarse but still very consistent. PCB is easy to program via QMK -- I used the key map file for the V2 PCB just fine. The bottom case does expose some cutouts for the screws so it isn't as seamless as it could be but I can live with that.

Quite happy about the Viper and the GB overall. Zero delay despite COVID. Thanks Elton for organizing the GB!

Would it be possible to receive replacement diffusers at this point? I've sold my viper and have just been made aware that the diffusers are of different thickness and are also made of different materials https://imgur.com/a/Qcryh95
